Image created via Wordle.
I spent a couple hours yesterday going back through all the comments listing your one little words and the reasons/thoughts behind them. It's always so cool to see all these words listed together. I am working on a layout for my word this year and hope to share it next week.
Below, the words. If I accidentally missed yours please add a comment below and I will add it to the list (I am updating throughout the day). These words are beautiful and powerful and subtle and really can make a difference in your life. Cheers to 2010.

One of the big things I noticed as I read back through all the words
yesterday is that most people want to make some sort of change in their
lives such as a subtraction or an addition. You might be interested in checking out Leo Batuba's (Zen Habits) new blog about habits
called 6 Changes.

My word is Wonder.
To see the awe and wonder in all things and be inspired through it and worship and love through it as well.

You didn't miss my word, but just wanted to say thank you for the compilation... I've looked forward to this post since last year, it helps just to read and ponder the words of each person and how I can also incorporate their words into my life. This year, in addition to my own word focus, I've printed the list and will cut them into strips and try to pick a word for each day. Thank you, Ali.

I think I wrote my word on the giveaway site -- not the word post...
my word is Details.
I want to take more detail photography shots to keep me/inspire me to practice!
Thanks for sharing them all!

Brilliant, inspiring list of words. I love each and everyone. After much thought my word is "rediscover". I know my life is full of fantastic stuff, which sometimes just gets buried beneath all the day to day chores. I want to rediscover them all this year and appreciate them more.

My word this year is Alter- as in my attitude, schedule, artwork, and life. Noone can alter my reality but me. :)

My word is PROCESS. I am more peaceful on the inside when I allow the PROCESS of whatever I am doing to unfold. I love the accomplishment, the goal, the acheivement, but now I am going to add the joy of the PROCESS. Imagine what will be revealed as I focus on the PROCESS of my relationships, on my children growing and learning, on my art, on my spirtual life, on my soul.

My word for the year is "faith" - faith in God to take care of me in His way and faith in myself. I need to finally believe that my ideas and feelings are valid and good. I need to quit trying to please everyone else and work on being myself, whatever that might mean. I also need to have faith in others and believe that other people can have my best interest at heart.

I love that you posted all these words. I was a little hesitant to name mine, which is my name, because it isn't really a word you find in the dictionary :) But it's the word that represents this year for me so why not!

Wow - this is really powerful - I haven't previously submitted a word and was reading the list to select one and was really considering DO I have lots I want to DO! But while trying it on for size and reviewing my personal resolutions I decided a better word for me is actually DONE -- I do lots of things more accurately I start lots of things. For 2010 I need to get things DONE -- either finish things I have started or let them go and be DONE with them -- my goal in this is less clutter in my home and mind.

Thanks to an idea from my friend I am celebrating a letter instead of a word. The letter F: FAITH. FAMILY. FRIENDS.
She is celebrating L: LOVE. LAUGH. LEARN.

"Tenderness"
Towards myself, my babies, my family, my life, my decisions, my thoughts, my words, my world around me ...

This is such a cool idea! My word is niche. I have found where I belong socially and romantically, and now it is time to embark on the solo journey of choosing a fulfilling career for myself that will make me happy in years to come. 2009 was a terrible year for this, so I hope that 2010 brings with it self discovery and awareness that will help me realize my potential.

My one word for this year is DARE. I have lived in a safe little boxed life for so long I want to do big and dream big this year.
