Two people will receive the January 2010 kit from Creative Cards Homeschool.
Everyone needs cards and almost everyone has a need to be creative. What better time then the New Year to resolve to get creative each day. Creative Cards Homeschool takes that
concept and makes it easy for YOU to get creative. What started as a class at her local scrapbook store has
grown to be a small home based Card kit business. Deena is the creative mind behind the designs you will see
but this is truly a family affair. Everyone is working behind the scenes to make this a successful family business.
Their hope is to inspire creativity in each person that receives their kits. While all the hard wok is done for you, like
the designs, stamping, inking, glittering there's plenty of opportunities to give each card your personal touch. You'll find the latest paper, trendy shapes, unique supplies, and
quality workmanship in each and every kit.
Please visit our site and see all the beautiful cards and kits we offer each month. Our hope is that you'll join us and help us to
spread joy through creativity and giving handmade cards.

I have been inspired by the scrapbook seen in the movie "My Sister's Keeper"...love the "old school" approach to scrapbooking/collage art and will incorporate that into my work this year.

I usually think of myself as fairly organized, but we just decided to teach my oldest at home and I'm feeling quite overwhelmed!

Not to toot my own horn at all, but something that has been inspiring to me so far this year has been doing something courageous. I'm a single Mom and have recently started talking to a guy I'm interested in on the phone. He is going to school really close to where I work, so for the past 3 days I've gone and dropped off a little gift for him at the front desk. It's nothing big, but being able to do something for someone else has made me so happy and has inspired me to do more for others throughout the year. Being organized would help SO MUCH in facilitating that! :D

In such a short time, I have been inspired to take time, to enjoy the moment, to capture the essence of ordinary life. I am experimenting on less rather than more, on using what I have rather than getting the latest things on the market. SO FAR, it is working!

I have found inspiration this year by listening, I mean really listening to my inner me and doing what is good for me. What feels right and what makes me happy. Reading about "one little word" has truly been the start of something good for me. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou.
