Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

My word this year is choice...I am really excited about it for some many reason. It really focuses on my goals for 2010 in many different areas of my life. One of my goals is to: Make the choice to work out 3 days a week again...I use to be a runner...every day 5+ miles or more...I have not put on a part of running shoes in over 3 years...it is time to get back at it. I don't think I will be running a marathon this year, but maybe next year again!
Happy New Year Ali...and I LOVE these giveaways...thanks again!

My word of the year is SIMPLIFY. I intend to simplify my life by purging unnecessary clutter to begin with. Also plan to make more time for family by working less.

My word is ACT.
I will stop just talking about things and ACT on them this year.....not only with scrapping, but with volunteering and just getting involved. I'm really looking forward to it.

Not sure of what the word will be, but "Moments" keeps sneaking back in-- Instead of planning and analyzing and worrying about things, I need to focus on the moments as they happen. I'm hoping to get on track with my Project 365; last year's didn't end up at 365, but the photos that I did capture are beautiful reminders of the little moments that truly are what our lives are about. Thanks for the beautiful giveaways and for all the inspiration! Happy New Year!

I was thinking my word should be CONTINUE because there are so many things that I start and never finish. Needing to lose the weight being at the top of the list because I always end up being discouraged about it and quit.

My word is going to be SIMPLIFY. I know it's a popular one but it really is a good one. I want to incorporate my word in many ways. Simplify my home life, simplify my schedule, the schedules of my family, So many ways....let's hope it works!

I am still working on a word for myself, but I do want to take time out for myself. Now that we are done moving, I want to spend time crafting again which is what I love to do for "me" time.

My word is PERSEVERE. I'm in my mid-40s and went back to school to make a career change. It has been extremely challenging balancing work, school, and family. I am just taking one day at a time to persevere and finish this program in July and move on to a new stage in my life.

My word for 2010 is JOURNEY. Last year was GROW; I didn't accomplish everything I wanted, so this year I hope to journey through the areas I wanted to grow in. Does that make sense?
I want to become a better photographer, so I will enjoy the journey through learning more about photography instead of being so hard on myself. Some of the other areas are exercising and scrapbooking.

I'm still figuring out my word, but this year I really want to re-prioritize and put my family and health first. The last decade has been transitioning to adulthood and starting my career, so this year I want to find better ways to live a sustainable life and be present with my husband and myself.

My word this year is "appreciate". We were so lucky in '09 to finally get started getting a handle on our finances and I need to remember to appreciate it as we go through the debt management process. I've got "appreciate" written in my daily calendar as something I'll see every day to remind me.

My word is PATIENCE. I will try to personally reflect on the word during the day(through journaling or visual reminders) so that I can practice patience in what I do.

Reading all of today's treats reminded me of when my mom would take us kids to the toy store and let us run free! My words for 2010 are LET GO. Hopefully, I'll let go of all the excuses and push myself even a few inches forward. Thanks for sharing, Ali!

In the past I have been able to zero in on my word quite easily but this year I can't seem to narrow it down to one - not yet anyway. I'm trying to choose from these words: thrive, grow, create, blossom, do and fearless. Hoping one of them will come into focus soon.
This year, to get myself off to a good start, I am creating a 'life binder' - a place for my to-do lists, schedules, menu planning, budgeting, creative thoughts etc. etc.. As a stay-at -home mom I am realizing that I need more structure in some areas and, ironically, I'm counting on that structure to free me up for some good family fun time. I'm so wanting to make the most of my days and my time with my family.
Thanks for the fabulous giveaways - it would be a treat to win any of them!!
Happy New Year, Ali.
