Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.
Your photos and memories are far too important to keep in a box, store on a computer or bury in a pile. We know life is busy and at times it feels nearly impossible to keep up with all of life's demands - yet alone find time for the things you enjoy like your scrapbook hobby and preserving your memories.
If you're overwhelmed with too many photos...

Well, I still need to pick my word for 2010. :) My word for 2009 was Love and I think I did a good job of keeping it in mind throughout the year but I would like to document/journal more about my word for this year. So, I resolve to take time this week to sit down and focus on choosing my word for this year and then creating a layout or project around my word to get me started and have a visual reminder of my word.

My word is WORTH. This week our local YMCA is having an open house, and we're going to go visit and sign up. (No talking myself out of it!) My physical health is worth the effort of going and worth the cost of admission! :)

Intentional is my word. I want to live my life by choice and not by chance.

I am still trying to narrow down my word. I want to try to make my hobby profitable somehow, so I think I need to focus on being published somewhere to start. I haven't found a word to define that yet. But I am looking hard! Thank you!

I haven't picked a word, but my goal this year is to use my time wisely. I want to have a better daily schedule for myself and my homeschooled children. I want all of us to learn to follow it to use our time wisely to get things done and have fun. Thanks for such wonderful giveaways!

My word is Focus. As we put away our Christmas decorations, I'm focusing on the things that we use every year and that bring us joy. All the other things we've got stored and haven't used in years are being donated to Goodwill.

My word this year is Lucky. In August my husband and I were hit by a drunk driver on our way to work. By a miracle we both survived, and though I could have choosen "heal" as my word, I think that "Lucky" outweighs it. The action I am taking is that I signed up for a Tai Chi class to help me focus and remind myself daily about how blessed and truly Lucky I am to be on the earth.

Hi, Ali ... Amazing giveaways - thank you! My word for 2010 is PRESENT. One action I'm taking toward being more present is to be still for five minutes twice a day. Sounds little, but feels huge! :)

My word of the year is happy. My husband passed away in Nov. 2008 and 2009 was about just getting by. My children and I were just figuring things out. This year I am determined that we will do what we can to find some happy--even if it is in the smallest things.

At first, I didn't think I could come up with just one word, but after the last few days, I would choose "trust." Trust in God, trust in love, trust in family.
Thanks Ali, for this opportunity.
