Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.
Here's a bit about Lisa and her business:

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.
Your photos and memories are far too important to keep in a box, store on a computer or bury in a pile. We know life is busy and at times it feels nearly impossible to keep up with all of life's demands - yet alone find time for the things you enjoy like your scrapbook hobby and preserving your memories.
If you're overwhelmed with too many photos...
If you're feeling guilty for not being "caught up"...
If you're overloaded with creative pressure and unrealistic expectations...
If you're stressed because you don't have enough time to scrapbook...
If you don't know where to start...or worried if you can even keep up...
If you're frustrated with the process of traditional scrapbooking...
If you're looking for a better way...
Then you will love our simple and refreshing approach to scrapbooking!
MemoryWorks is beyond thrilled to introduce the new, exclusive Simple Stories scrapbook system. You can view our video here. Our innovative system was designed for scrapbookers of all levels who want to share their life stories and memories in a simple, yet meaningful, way - but without the time, guilt or stress of traditional scrapbooking.
Life Documented, the first collection in our Simple Stories series, is all about documenting a year in your life like never before. Our Life Documented kit allows you to share your story in a whole new way, while getting back to the basics of what scrapbooking is all about...your photos and memories. We've done all the work for you with our exclusive Simple Stories system - with beautiful pre-designed elements that you simply trim, add your journaling and then insert into pockets - along with your 4x6 photos - for quick and easy scrapbooking. No cropping. No adhesive. No stress. It's as easy as that - sharing your photos and memories has never been easier!
In addition to the giveaway here, we're giving away a FREE Simple Stories Life Documented kit, with coordinating divided page protectors and embellishments, a retail value well over $35. Visit www.mysimplestories.com for more details.

My word is ACCOMPLISH. I have many projects and ideas, so many that I become overwhelmed with where to start and then nothing gets accomplished. My action has been studying my camera and how to use it. I have moved from auto to manual settings!! This makes me Happy :)

My goal is to be better at getting packages and cards in the mail in a timely manner! I also want to get back into shape and lose the baby weight (baby due in March) THIS year, and not wait two years like last time!

Hey Ali! I would adore a necklce from Lisa Leonard Designs :-) Or any of the other wonderful prizes! And either way I am totally heading over to Designed Digitals son to pick up the 365 overlays. I did a 365 in 2008 and have decided to do another this year to document my pregnancy and the arrival of our second baby in May. Happy New Year!

My word has to be STRENGTH. I wrapped up 2009 with a cancer diagnosis, and will now spend the better part of 2010 getting better. I am looking forward to facing it all head on, and remembering to keep doing the things that make me happy. . . like scrapbooking!

I absolutley love this idea. My Word is CHANGE! This year is filled with change in varying degrees in our home. My two eldest babies are starting school this year which will be huge for them and I want to make lots of changes for myself too. Some to the way I do things, others to the way I think and feel and see my life in general. What an exciting way to start a New Year!

On Donald Miller's blog www.donmilleris.com he talks about telling stories instead of making resolutions - he says you need to want something, imagine a climactic scene, and then move... I have found myself talking about his book to anyone who will listen, it's amazing.
My word for 2010 is going to be MOTHER - I have four children and this year I am going to be the mother-of-the-bride to my oldest. And, I am even in this moment committing to finding my own mother who left when I was two. I have only seen her twice since then, and it's been 35 years since the last time. This is terrifying for me, not sure altogether why. But I have become convinced that in order to write one's story you need to know as much of it as you can. And, I don't know my story with my mother - and I certainly don't know her story.
My daughter already imagined a climactic scene for me - she wants me to find my mother and invite her to Anna's wedding. (my daughter is Anna)
Every year I have bought necklaces or bracelets with the OLW on it - I'd love to win the giveaway. I think Lisa Leonard's jewlery rocks!!

EMBARK is my 2010 word and it emplies movement or action. I am going to put my desires into action. I am going to DO rather than wish. Whatever crosses my mind such as Donna Downey's Inspired event. If I can get the time off work I am going!!! I am not content to read what a good time everyone had, I want to be a part of the good time. I will EMBARK, ms.cheryl

I plan to incorporate a weekly lunch meeting with my husband to make sure we are keeping our FOCUS on what is really important and the goals we have made are going to be realized. We also have written things down-that always seems to help goals come to fruition.

My word is ENJOY. I have four little boys, and the action i'm taking is to forget about the vacuum, the chores, the duties, and just play with and ENJOY my lovely little family. I am going to ENJOY my husband by doing things with him that he likes to do, and keeping the cable cancelled so that we talk with one another more.

Great giveaways Ali! I actually ordered my necklace from Lisa a couple days ago - can't wait for it to arrive.
M 2010 word is: NURTURE.
You can read the back story on my blog.
Yesterday I spent focused time on each of my children and they LOVED it. It was wonderful to connect on a deeper level then just the day to day stuff.
Today, I will NURTURE my physical & emotional well being with a run.
See ya!

I have a few going on in my head and not sure which one I will make - the word - but they are POSITIVELY and SPIRITUAL.
Both are items I believe would make my life turn for the better.
I am currently watching myself being negative and looking for books on being optimistic. I am also looking towards non matarials for happiness and fulfillment as buying and buying and buying isn't getting me any happier after the buy part. ;)
