Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.
Your photos and memories are far too important to keep in a box, store on a computer or bury in a pile. We know life is busy and at times it feels nearly impossible to keep up with all of life's demands - yet alone find time for the things you enjoy like your scrapbook hobby and preserving your memories.
If you're overwhelmed with too many photos...
If you're feeling guilty for not being "caught up"...
If you're overloaded with creative pressure and unrealistic expectations...
If you're stressed because you don't have enough time to scrapbook...
If you don't know where to start...or worried if you can even keep up...
If you're frustrated with the process of traditional scrapbooking...
If you're looking for a better way...
Then you will love our simple and refreshing approach to scrapbooking!
MemoryWorks is beyond thrilled to introduce the new, exclusive Simple Stories scrapbook system. You can view our video here. Our innovative system was designed for scrapbookers of all levels who want to share their life stories and memories in a simple, yet meaningful, way - but without the time, guilt or stress of traditional scrapbooking.

Our Life Documented kit allows you to share your story in a whole new way, while getting back to the basics of what scrapbooking is all about...your photos and memories. We've done all the work for you with our exclusive Simple Stories system - with beautiful pre-designed elements that you simply trim, add your journaling and then insert into pockets - along with your 4x6 photos - for quick and easy scrapbooking. No cropping. No adhesive. No stress. It's as easy as that - sharing your photos and memories has never been easier!

I think story is a good work for me this year. I have two classes at BPS that I haven't done yet and they are all about story. This is a good thing to start right now.

Lots of encouraging words...I think I like "move" and "no" as a couple to try (especially in relation to health/food). I'm going to a Leadership conference in a few days & I expect to be inspired and come home with some clearer vision of what I want to accomplish this year.
Thanks for the giveaways!

US - one child in college, one a junior in school. Time for hubby and I to be us again. US enjoy the one still home. US cherish the time when the one comes home from college. So many variations but captures the essence of life - family.

I will limit my web surfing time to 1 hour a day. I have been over doing it the last year. Time is better spend with my husband and kids. I have my husband as a time keeper.

My word is STORY.
Because once our life stages and months and years will be just short stories to be told and i just want to make all the actions and decisions focused on this simple truth. Once it will be just short story. It means that sometimes there is time to be less serious about decision, sometimes there is just time to be more bold in dreams, because all the reality has to start somewhere, right? Like recent starting my etsy shop can be beginning of something bigger, like working in summer camp in NH every year even if i am from Czech Republic might be leading me for some adventurous years in USA, who knows. Life is like a journal, life is a story. Some stories are sad, some are fun, some are just like journal pages you spilled cup of coffee on... I love Lisa's necklace cause the letters looked like from old typewriter and illustrates meaning of the word story for me just perfectly.

The word that expresses my goal for 2010 is MOVE. I want to physically MOVE more each day (walking, Dance, Yoga). MOVE clutter out of my house and off my desk at work. MOVE away from people that only cause harm to me and my life.
MOVE.

I enjoy reading these posts! One person, as a stay at home mom, needs to accomplish more, the next stay at home mom needs to slow down and not worry about accomplishing so much. . . to everything there is a season! I haven't quite decided on my word (where's my thesaurus?!), but it will have something to do with appreciating my spouse.

My word for 2010 is HOPE. Hope is a belief in a positive outcome. Hope is the belief that all will turn out for the best. Who doesn't need a little hope every now and again?!

Since my word is STABILITY, my action right now is actually in-action. I am just soaking in the days and moving forward with stability. I used to like change, but lately there has been way too much of it in my life. Soon I hope to at least create an art piece of some sort with my word on it, but for now I sit in peace.

My word is "listen" - to the world, to my self and to the people around me. One action I am taking regarding my word is to LISTEN to my loving husband and take his advice, leaving all my fear and self criticism aside and for once believe I can actually pull it off.
