Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.
Your photos and memories are far too important to keep in a box, store on a computer or bury in a pile. We know life is busy and at times it feels nearly impossible to keep up with all of life's demands - yet alone find time for the things you enjoy like your scrapbook hobby and preserving your memories.
If you're overwhelmed with too many photos...

The one action I'm taking to fulfill one of my resolutions this year is to take full advantage of me gym membership. One of my resolutions is to get into shape and feel healthy so going to the gym and doing other things outside will help get me moving and also give me a change of scenery, and hopefully help me discover new places around town.

I chose BELIEVE as my word, and my family chose POSITIVE. We are going forth and believing in ourselves and in each other. We are being more positive towards each other and positive with regards to the outcome of events happening in our lives. 2010 is going to be a happy healthy year for us, we are going to break down barriers and jump the hurdles together.

My word for this year is "HAPPINESS". I'm going to start moving forward & do/enjoy things that keep me happy. The first thing I plan on doing is to create a 2010 box for myself & periodically write love letters to myself & keep it in the box, so that at the end of the year I can read them & see how happy I was.

my word is balance. I have 5 children and a husband and sometimes there is not enough of me to cook, clean, chaufeur, etc. Exercise is way at the bottom of priorities but i have set a goal to get on the treadmill 1x week in Jan. I ran a marathon 8 yrs ago but haven't consistently ran for the past 5. gotta start somewhere.

My word of the year comes from inspiration of my dad - FOCUS. to focus on the task at hand, to focus on what's important etc.
I'm not a person who can keep to yearly promises, so I move in small steps, achieving in small amounts with baby steps. This month's target is glow. So I will focus on making every body happy and make myself smile as well.
And of course, what better way to check the achievement than to document it?

Happy New Year Ali, i love your posts this time of the year about words. I have thought about ti almost everyday for the last week and the word FOCUS seems to be what pops into my head . So with that decided, my first action is to really focus on myself, my thoughts, my actions, my words and my feelings. Especially feelings, i sem to ignore what i feel and put others first but this year my feelings come first.
Thanks once again for a great giveaway opportunity.
All the best Meri xxx

My 2010 word will be; *RELEASE* Let go of past disappointments, regrets, and things that upset me. Release the need to control everything around me and just let things be! Release positivity from within and the belief that life is good!

My word for last year was change...seems all I did all year was adapt to change, I am not really sure that is what I wanted my year to hold...so this year my word is...mindfulness. The little action I am taking to go along with my word is a daily moment each morning accompanied by a long deep breath...bringing myself into the moment and centering myself to a place that allows my thoughts/actions to be mindful: to mean something, to be deliberate, to have intent!
