Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.
Your photos and memories are far too important to keep in a box, store on a computer or bury in a pile. We know life is busy and at times it feels nearly impossible to keep up with all of life's demands - yet alone find time for the things you enjoy like your scrapbook hobby and preserving your memories.
If you're overwhelmed with too many photos...

Since I'm focusing on instituting a healthier lifestyle this year one action I'm taking is to start exercising for 15 min 3-4 days a week to start. Then I'll work my way up 5-10 min at a time as I feel comfortable.

Harmony. My word for 2010 is Harmony. After years of juggling family and marriage and business ownership and volunteerism and all the many other hats I wear, I've decided that this will be my year not only to strive for balance but to find accord between my roles and responsibilities. That will require me to give careful consideration to requests that are made of me, to weigh what really matters, to learn to say no. A lofty goal I know but I believe as I begin achieving harmony higher levels of peace and contentment will be my result. Bring on the new year. I am ready.

I'm having a hard time with my word this year. So far, I'm leaning towards LOVE since my daughter will be getting married in June and that will be a main focus in our lives atleast for half of the year.
Trying to remember 1 Corinthians 13 and all the attributes of love.

Not sure if my comment went through or not - I don't see it posted.
Anyways, I think my word this year will be LOVE. I want to use 1 Corinthians 13 as my measuring stick for what love means and how I am showing love towards others.

My word is BALANCE.
I always put 100% into my current action, could be work, school or family. Taking away from another area in my life. Unfortantely my family receives the short stick. This year I am bringing balance to my life. I will still give 100% but at appropriate times. Family time is family time. School and work are seperate. Finally I will BALANCE my time so I can take care of myself. My body and soul.

I have my word narrowed down to five, but haven't decided on the final choice. I have a few life changes I'd like to make, and the words were successful the past two years: faith and peace. I worked on those aspects in my life and they made me aware throughout the year. Thanks for the inspiration-and a chance at a givewaway! :)

I am following the 6changes.com model for my "resolutions" this year. My first change/habit is to create a system/habit of updating a to-do list every day, and picking the 3-5 most important items to do the next day. Thanks, as always, for the giveaways!

Not sure what I want to choose, I know I need to simplify, and want to be present in the record keeping, making photo books to keep the memories current is a goal, and to read more is a goal. Thanks and Happy New Year.

I am still figuring out the word, but it will have something to do with simplify, organize, adjust and enjoy, with a little lack-of-perfection thrown in. After a hectic holiday season, I started off on NY Day with 3 games and 3 movies with the kids!

My word for the year is ENJOY. My two year-old is growing up so fast. Rather than woorying about what activities we should be doing and what he needs to learn I want to step away from researching what I need to do with him and just enjoy him.

My word is progress (the verb). I have so many areas of my life I want to improve and make changes on, so many areas where I don't do, or keep on doing, what I WANT to do. It's an ongoing struggle, due to my A.D.D. - one that will never go away - so it's what I can expect. Can't expect myself to be as consistent as I wish I could be, but if I keep working to progress, I'll keep moving forward toward my goals.
