My current favorite photo is of my four year old son, and my then 11 month old son looking at each other with their noses touching and laughing. They were both unaware that a picture was being taken, and I adore the pure joy and love on their faces.

I have this great photo of my grandmother that my uncle took in the early 70's. She was looking into the distance & looked like she was pondering life, but when I asked her if she remembered having that picture taken & what was on her mind, she said she was thinking about what to make for supper. :) She's been gone for almost 20 years now & I smile every time I see that picture & think of that story.
If I happen to win. . .I'm already signed up for Shimelle's class. :)

I love the photo I took of my marmalade -- yes, my marmalade. I made it from scratch and it took me 7 hours, so I decided that I needed to preserve it for posterity!

My favorite one right now (it changes all the time) is my son outside in our first big snow. We moved from Florida to Ohio and we have never seen more than 2 inches of snow and it was fun being out in it for the first time.

It's funny that you have this as the topic for your giveaway. Just this past week I went through my photos in iPhoto and printed out like 50 pictures to finally hang on the depressingly bare walls of our home. And out of those I have a current favorite. It is of me and my son. A self portrait of the two of us. Black and White. Standing in front of the family room window. You can only see me from the shoulders down. Holding my son around his armpits (doesn't look as gross as it sounds) standing in front of me. His face. So natural, so sweet, smiling. He's in the process of wrapping his arms around my hands. My daughters play mat and the basket of balls and other toys shown to our right. I LOVE IT. Such an everyday scene with the clutter of toys. And the expression of the relationship my son and I have is told so well even though you can't see my face. It shows just how much he's grown, how old he looks now (at 3.5 years). Potty trained, gearing up for preschool. No longer my baby, but my big boy. It makes me cry and feel such pride at the same time.

My current favorite photo is of my Mom and Dad fishing. My Dad doesn't usually smile in photos but he has a really nice smile in this one. It is a treasured moment captured for me to remember.

My current favorite photo is one I took of my son, shaking his head at me when he didn't want me to take YET ANOTHER picture. I just put it in my favorite photos album on my blog.
Love that camera bag! There seems to be so many new cute camera bags out there.

One of my current favs is a macro shot of a water fountain. I love the ornate swirls and scrolls of the stone, the ripples of the water, and especially the one droplet just quivering at the edge before it drops. It is a favorite because it shows so clearly that there is great beauty in small things, that great beauty can be there and then gone in a instant. It reminds me to really SEE the details and look for the fleeting beauty of things that will not be there in another instant in time.
Shimelle's class is wonderful! Love that it's motivating me to unearth things from my stash and ::gasp:: use them!!
Ali- thanks for sharing that WONDERFUL camera bag site!!
