My boys are 15 and 19. It's not as easy as it used to be to photograph them. Especially since the oldest is an exceptional photographer. So, last summer, when I captured them fooling around and laughing, I was beyond thrilled. Because of the circumstances, the photos are fuzzy but the energy and love and joy are crystal clear. This photo is how I see them when we are apart and I love it!

my all time favorite photo is my newborn, premature (now 8 year old) daughter's foot...complete with the NICU ankle band-aid touching my nose....sooo tiny- yet somehow exactly the same foot she has now. It doesn't show any of the torture my body was/had gone through..just a little bit of my rapture with the love of new parenthood!

My favorite photo is one recently taken on a family vacation to the beach, I captured my sons (12 and 8) walking together talking and not fighting on the beach, with the waves behind them - it makes me so happy.

My fave photo is an older one I found in a stack of things of three of my friends from college. We're dressed in summer clothes, which means it was close to the end of the school year, or right at the beginning, eating dinner at our fave sushi place. Everyone is smiling and leaning on one another, happy, well fed, and generally enjoying themselves. Just looking at it makes me smile.

It's of a sunflower from last summer that I took with my new camera. The petals are just opening and the seed area is starting to push out. The photo shows dimension and detail and I love it!

My favorite photos are the ones I took of my Mami (my grandma who raised me) before she passed away. I especially love one photo where I captured a close-up of her hands because it shows her softness and tenderness. I miss her every day.
On a much lighter note, I am in LOVE with that camera bag! I would love to win that bag :) Thanks.
