Yesterday I put together a video tutorial (10 mins +) that will show you my process for working with the digital collage pages in my Week In The Life 8.5x11 layered template album. I hope this is helpful for those of you who are choosing to use the templates either as part of a hybrid or digital album.
Look for a new post tomorrow that talks about my process with the words.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have never worked with a layered template before, but I'm going to buy it now and am so excited to finish up this project! This is the first project in a long time that I am actually going to FINISH!!!! Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you, Ali! I already had your template in my cart at designer digitals but I was not looking forward to having to try and play and figure it out on my own - I was stumped about the clipping mask - Now I don't have to! And I loved putting a voice with a face. It was nice to hear you after all the times I have "read" you : )

I am pretty sure (but not 100% positive) that to use the layered templates you need to have Photoshop or Elements. Adobe offers a free trial of Elements here: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopelwin/?promoid=BPDEM

Hi Susan - try just using Control G. Make sure to have the photo layer selected/highlighted in the layers palette and directly above the layer you want it to mask into.

Emily - did they say how long it would take to get them to Oz (I am in NZ) and is the cost of postage etc. prohibitive?

Hi Emily,
Thanks for your reply!
I did email them and they indeed ship to NL.
Now I only need to get myself a creditcard, because they don't accept Paypal.
Have to think about that though.
But good to know that it is an option.
Thank you!

Thank, Bev, that looks like a good option too!
I see they accept checks, so I am going to look into that next week.
Thanks for the suggestion!
