One More Day

I'm glad you were able to spend an extra day with your sister! Right now my parents have a child in each time zone! Thankfully we get together for a week in the summer so the 11 cousins (all age 9 and under) can play.

Awww, this is making me miss my sister even more! She moved away from us in January and she is the best sis and aunt! Boo. Anyways, in the picture with the girls at the picnic, where are those flower shaped trays from? I have been looking for something like that, and they are adorable!!

We're so far from my siblings, too (far from my parents, too) and it's so fun when we can get together. I'm looking forward to uniting with 3 out of 4 of my siblings next month!

Oregon is a reaaaalllly long way from the Carolinas, isn't it? My sis lives in Oregon and it seems a long way from me, here on the East Coast, too.

I love this post, Ali. I lived in Phoenix and my closest girl cousins lived in Chicago. We went back every summer to visit. We stayed close through so much but I do know my mom really missed her sisters.
You can hop a plane any time. Just do it.

So sorry about your flight cancellation. I was successful in getting from Charlotte to Tampa but the Tampa to Denver flight got cancelled! Made for a very long day I was luckily traveling alone (no little kiddos with me) so it was survivable. Glad you got the extra day with your family
