This week I am inspired by Greg Mortenson's book, Three Cups of Tea. Can't wait to read the second book, One Stone at a Time. And, I am also inspired by a young woman who is serving as a missionary in Iraq (Global Hope). They are both inspirations of the true meaning of "hope" (a belief that good can be accomplished).

This week I have been inspired by a friend who has been decorating their new house. I have been thinking about repainting my kitchen for quite a while and now I have finally tried some tester paints and chosen the colour. Today I'm going to buy the paint and tomorrow I'm going to paint it. Looking forward to the change.

I sat with my friend yesterday while he got a zodiac tattoo yesterday for his birthday next week; it was an idea he sent the artist, who drew it as my friend gave him a bit of creative license so it would be unique; and the art in the shop as well as my friend's tattoo is inspiring me right now; just the drawings this artist has done, his work is beautiful and he's just such a generous person from all our encounters with him - such a great experience and a wealth of inspiration in seeing art in a new perspective :)
