GIVEAWAY :Two people will receive the July card kit from Creative
Cards Homeschool
You know the feeling of receiving a handmade card? It makes you feel extra special. Sometimes it’s even better than the gift itself. Giving a handmade card is an even better feeling as the person you are giving it to gushes over your hard work and creativity. Share these feelings with those you love and care for and make your occasions and gifts just a little bit more personal and from the heart.
Creative Cards Homeschool is a monthly card kit club. We make the creativity easy by providing kits with beautifully designed cards and reasonable prices. Each kit is designed with a color scheme, the latest papers, hand drawn art, unusual buttons and trims and lots of little details.
This month Creative Cards is celebrating its birthday. To celebrate we have included a 6th card in this kit titled “Thank you from the bottom of my heart”, a thank you to all our customers new and old for a wonderful two years.
Also this month all new subscribers will be entered into a drawing to receive next month’s kit (August) for free!

Going to our small town festival this weekend was so inspiring. Makes me appreciate our beautiful community and has inspired to me better about recording our memories of where we live for my children.

The sun has been out all week, so I've been inspired by the colors and textures of the garden and countryside of Western Montana!

We just returned from a week of vacation at my mom's house....I was inspired by sitting with her and looking at old photos of the kids that she had sorted in boxes and talking about the occasions behind the pictures. Memories overwhelmed me and made me want to document them.

I recently bought the book "The Happiness Project" and have been enjoying it A LOT. My husband thought it was silly since he calls me "annoyingly happy" already, but lately, I have felt frustrated and am finding this book to be inspiring because I have come to realize that there is ALWAYS room to be happier. In this book, I learned that I have a need for getting a GOLD STAR for recognition of doing something (i.e. cleaning the entire house) and that if I do things to please MYSELF - then, I wont be disappointed when it goes unrecognized by someone else. Our brains MUST be different: just because hubby doesn't comment on the clean house doesn't mean that he didn't notice it or that he doesn't appreciate it; he just doesn't express it the way that I wanted him to. Now that I am understanding that; I feel happier and inspired to read more of this book.

As always Flickr is my main inspiration station. But I also find I'm inspired my music too. These two things combined can really help me to create with my heart.

This past weekend was our biggest swim meet. My 11 year old had a FANTASTIC meet and worked so hard. While doing backstroke, he saw me cheering, laughed (while swimming) and finished first in his heat while smiling the whole way.
Having fun in the middle of the competition? Being silly in the midst of the serious? The fact that my boy recognizes the importance of that?
THAT'S what inspires me.

I am inspired by my dad who is celebrating his 75th birthday today. And although he is now suffering from dementia, he was awarded his PhD 3 weeks ago after my mom submitted his final dissertation that he completed 5 years ago and never sent in. We are very proud of him.

Inspiring me now -- watching my daughter swim in a meet in the rain, hearing about how my son is having a great time and being a great guest while with his friend's family at the beach. Thanks for the inspiration!

I'm inspired at the moment by summer time and getting to sleep in a bit later and go to bed a bit later. This schedule just matches my natural rhythm and I feel that I function so much better, including creativity-wise, when I can be on this schedule.
