Cards Homeschool
You know the feeling of receiving a handmade card? It makes you feel extra special. Sometimes it’s even better than the gift itself. Giving a handmade card is an even better feeling as the person you are giving it to gushes over your hard work and creativity. Share these feelings with those you love and care for and make your occasions and gifts just a little bit more personal and from the heart.
Creative Cards Homeschool is a monthly card kit club. We make the creativity easy by providing kits with beautifully designed cards and reasonable prices. Each kit is designed with a color scheme, the latest papers, hand drawn art, unusual buttons and trims and lots of little details.
This month Creative Cards is celebrating its birthday. To celebrate we have included a 6th card in this kit titled “Thank you from the bottom of my heart”, a thank you to all our customers new and old for a wonderful two years.
Also this month all new subscribers will be entered into a drawing to receive next month’s kit (August) for free!

I am inspired by my Husband's Grandmother. She passed this last week at the age of 84. She was a happy wonderful lady who loved and lived for her family.

I'm totally inspired by my children this week- our 5 year-old is reading and spelling newcwords byvthe minute, our 13-month old is walking and into everything, and our 6-week old smiled for the first time 3 days ago. Such inspiration and blessings!

Life-wise - I'm inspired to see that my cousin is now a runner, as he is no more athletic than I am. It is encouraging me to keep at it with my walking!
Scrappy-wise - I'm inspired by some of the new CHA sneaks!

Right now, BPS is inspiring me with 2 classes I'm taking. Thank you Picture Summer and Claudine Hellmuth for a very creative week!

My most current inspiration is the BPS class that I'm taking online with Claudine Hellmuth; so fun! Paint, paper, canvas! It's nice to switch things up a bit from my traditional paper and scissors.

This week I am inspired by the fact that I am back home here in the US after a trip to Guatemala to visit my husband's family-so many things we take for granted here are considered luxuries to so many people there-and it has inspired me to make a difference and save things I no longer use, to bring to help out others less fortunate. Also, it makes me much more aware of how lucky I really am to have so many things-perhaps I need to start living a bit more simply myself and only get what I really need, not what I THINK I need.

This week I am inspired by distant family - like ancestors. My summer project is to merge several family trees into one computer program, adding photos and anecdotes when possible. One branch of the family can be traced to the 1300's in Germany. It is amazing to realize how many people I am connected to!

I've found my gardens very inspiring this week . . . the different colors and textures and even the sounds the plants make as the breezes shift them around. I love being in them. :)

Shimelle is my inspiration this week. Her Love Your Photos class is really making me think about my photography and how much I want to improve.

I'm inspired by the fact that my parents' 50th anniversary is coming up. I've been soliciting memories/wishes from friends and acquaintances, and now have a job ahead of me to put together a memory book for them. That's my current inspiration.

I have been inspired this week by watching my son blossom from a kid to a young man almost overnight! I want to capture this special summer and all his activities, insights and memories. He is just amazing.

I am inspired this week to take better pictures.
I have been reading and just plain taking more pictures and studying them to make sure that they are telling a story.

I am feeling inspired by my disabled son. He pushes himself and has a very positive attitude. He believes that by getting out of ourselves and helping others we help ourselves the most. I am feeling inspired to reach out and find a need I can help fill.

My art 11A class. I am now on to my fourth week and I see everything differently and in a different aspect too, I love that. Being in this class has forced me to get out of my comfort zone and use new media and no rulers. Which is scary for me but I have done better than I thought I ever could have. I believe now I can handle most any craft if I were to give a chance.
Happy weekend!

I'm inspired by my daughter's courage and tenacity this week - she has joined a baton class and gone to the movies twice. Doesn't sound like much, but when you have Aspergers, and are worried about new social situations or confined/dark places, it was a huge leap of faith. She inspires me always :)
