A New Chapter & We Don't Remember Days Scrapbook Layout
Tags:We are packing up and beginning a new chapter in our lives this week in a new home (same town, different house). I'm taking lots of deep breaths, cleaning out things we don't need or love, and generally looking forward to a bit more space for the four of us.
As I start the process of packing up my office I'm once again reminded how inspiring it can be to just go through the products I have in my possession. I'm unearthing patterns and products I'd forgotten about and looking forward to using them in some upcoming projects after we get settled in our new space (trying to remember to take notes as I go).
The layout you see here was completed this past weekend. The pieces had been sitting on my table for quite awhile, waiting for the chance to find a home on a layout. My friend Kim took this shot of Anna a couple weeks ago and dropped off a print for me (she's the best) - there's nothing better than a print in hand to inspire me to get something glued down.
I've got a thing for this fabric paper. I love the texture and the color and that it's adhesive backed. For this page I used the Corner Chomper (works great on fabric, acrylic, etc), rounded three corners and then hand-draw the fourth to become a home for journaling. Simple hand-written storytelling talks a bit about what Anna was doing at the time the photo was taken.

This past week my friend Kelly Rae Roberts launched a brand new ebook series: Flying Lessons: Tips & Tricks To Help Your Creative Business Soar. Based on the content from her recent (very awesome & inspiring) e-course, she released four ebooks that cover parts one, two, three or you can purchase "the whole shebang" which combines the first three books into one big package.
I was lucky to preview her online proofs of these PDF books when we were at the coast a couple weeks back and they are beautifully designed. I especially like that they are interactive PDF's full of links and examples to help you launch, nurture or grow your creative business.
Click here to learn more and make sure to click through to each "All The Details Here" page where she shows you examples of what's included as well as content specifics for what you will find in each of the PDF books. Highly recommended.

Good luck with the move! How exciting a new home a new begining. The only thing I really like about moving was that it was a great kick start to clean out and find things you did realise you had or had lost.
