Almost
Tags:It's almost in focus.
She's constantly in motion.
In this instant she was in-between jumping up & coming back down in her crib.
Up & down. Up & down. Laughing. Jumping. Smiling. And then diving (seriously) down onto her mattress.
All this upon waking up from a mid-morning nap.
I'll take almost.
Almost is pretty darn cute.

Wow! This post completely reminds me of my 15-month old son. He, like Anna, is in constant motion. And he, like Anna, loves to jump in his crib and dive into the mattress. I put him down for a nap the other day and about ten minutes later I heard a big crack... silence... then a big wail. He had dived right into the railings and given himself a huge red welt on his forehead. Guess what we were doing that very night? Family pictures. *sigh*
They sure are full of energy and keep joy in the home.
I always love hearing about your family as well as all the crafty things you do!

Oh that sounds familiar here too. If you look closely she's got a bump on her forehead too. Full of life that's for sure.

I have had a lot of those almost in focus pictures lately, but I think that is what life with kids is like. I don't think I am ever completely in focus myself trying to keep up with my 2.

What an adorable picture, the look on her face and the smile could not be any cuter! Love that you are documenting this. Wish I could do the childhood of my grown kids over again, I'd take pictures of this kind of thing and write about it but I love that some parents are doing it today. :-)

Ali- thank you for this post. We just celebrated my husband's birthday and I thought I had captured a perfect picture of him and the kids blowing out the candles of his cake. Only to realize it isn't all in focus... your post made me realize it is still worth keeping and treasuring!

Funny, I scrapped a set of photos not so long ago where NONE of them were in focus, in fact they were only developed as they were film photos. I love the layout I did and the fact that I've kept a story alive of a fun time. In my blog when I showcased the LO I pondered on the fact that we are possibly losing stories due to the non development of "not so good photos" due to the age of digital. Made me realise I want to scrap memories not just perfect photos.

Miss Thing bounces like that when I come to get her in the mornings and after her nap. She's on one nap now and I gotta say...I miss nap number two! LOL! She'll be 18 months soon so she's about Anna's age. :)
