What I love about school...well since I homeschool, what I love is that I get to be the one that teaches my kids to read, I get to be the one to sit on the couch with each one and work through a problem, I get to be the one that relearns (many times, learns for the first time) all the information in each grade. Woo-hoo.

I loved the beginning of the school year or semester. New classes, new teachers. That excitement wore off pretty quickly once things picked up, but the change was fun.

I loved basketball games - from 6th grade to graduation I never missed a game.

I loved reading! But even above and beyond that, I loved Writing! Nothing was as awesome as a brand new notebook to fill with my stories! Yes, I wrote stories while in some of my classes! Maybe that's why I only managed a high C, low b in phsyics.

As a teacher I love the look in a child's eyes when they suddenly realise they get it. It is wonderful !

I loved my 4th grade math teacher. He was very serious and strict, but he was a great communicator. Not only did he help me "get" math, but he taught great life-skills, like keeping organized, making lists, meeting deadlines, etc.

So many of my teachers have special places in my memory. And some of them even have places on my facebook. :D Wonderful teachers are definitely what I love most about school.

I loved getting to see all my old friends I left behind on the last day of school.I was also sad at the same time, because the new friends I made that summer will be missed.
I was excited at all the new things such as homeroom, new schedule, locker, teachers, and even the chance of making new friends.

I used to have a teacher that used to bring books from home in for our class, faster then I could read them (which back then, was fast!)
