I loved going to the library and borrowing books. There were no public libraries and the school library was the only one around for us.

I loved school supplies and being able to see my friends 5 days a week!

School was not and still isn't my fave thing.
Very stressful to be judged against others publicly. I suppose if you were smart cool and prepared all the time with plenty of money, school might have been FUN. I love to read and learn new things and make stuff, so learning isn't the problem, it's the system.

The excitement of school shopping. The supplies were okay, but the new clothes shopping every fall, it doesn't get any better than that!! I still want to buy a new fall wardrobe every year and I have not been in school in years!!

I always loved "back to school" clothes shopping! It was one of the few times that we got new clothes during the year.

I loved my 4th Grade Teacher, Mrs. Blaud. She was also a principal when my daughter was at Seeliger Elementary School, here in Carson City, NV. I see her still in the grocery store, and she still remembers me. I'm 52, can you imagine. She has always known how she made my life better. You just made my day with this question. Thank you.

I loved going shopping for it! Whether it was while I was in school or teaching, I loved shopping for new clothes, supplies, and goodies for my new classroom. I'd be lying if I said I don't miss it!

I loved getting new school supplies then organizing them into my new school case. Guess the pencil case for some reason was my very favorite and I had to have a new one every year. Thanks for the chance to win. Checking out your site next.

I loved the library. And my 5th and 6th grade teachers, Miss Boyd and Miss Carlson. They were amazing.

Well, this probably sounds terribly obnoxious, but it's not meant to be! What I remember enjoying most was one of my math class teachers (I think it was geometry) would allow us to look at the answer key after we finished a test to get an idea of how we had done, and a couple of times I found an error on her key- of course, as a teenager, I really LOVED that! And I would really love to have this collection! Thanks!

Since I grew up as an only child, I loved going back to school in the Fall to see and chat with all of my friends!!! I also loved shopping for school supplies and still do. Even now I look for reasons to go shopping for school supplies... :-)

I was a total nerd and loved everything about school, but if I had to pick one thing, I think it would be getting all those new school supplies. Guess that's why I love buying scrapbooking supplies too ;) Thanks!

I loved the first day of school photos that my mom took of us all lined up in the front of the house with our new outfits,bags and lunch boxes. She even got my younger sister in them because she felt bad she wasn't old enough to go....great memories. Now I line kids up for the first day in front by the house and take pictures of the even if they are not old enough yet they are still included. I guess it is tradtions.

I loved school because it was full of books & paper & art supplies & people -- still some of my most fave things at age 52 :)

School supply shopping was one of my favorite things about school. I still get that excitement when the lists arrive in the mail for my three children. I think that I have more fun than they do, I have a hard time remembering that they get to pick out what they like, not what I think is the cutest or the coolest! I also love the memories of finding out who my teacher is for the year and where my desk was in the classroom.

You know I really did not enjoy school too much. I was picked on a lot. But I did have a few awesome teachers and 2 very amazing VP's. One of which I am still in contact with and she was my 3-6th grade VP!
