Thanks for the chance to win. What I remember most about school is all the fun we used to have--even lessons were fun!

I loved "penny candy" day at school - Wednesdays. We'd get to buy treats after lunch AND it was also the day we'd have arts & crafts. I still have some of my handmade holiday drawings and ornaments from elementary school - I treasure the memories they kindle.

My favorite thing about school was opening a nice new clean notebook and writing on it with that new pen that flows just right. Paper and pens, no wonder I love scrap booking. :-)

I always loved preparing for the new school year -- for myself and then for my own children. There was just something about the anticipation of sorting the new supplies, seeing my new room, etc. Loved it all! Thanks for the chance to win!

I loved the smell of new school supplies! Also loved doing art projects in elementary school, playing with friends at recess and writing stories.

I loved school shopping: clothes, supplies, new backpack or lunch box...loved that. Looking back now- I wish I'd appreciated the actual learning process more at the time.

I loved my new school supplies the most, but I really just loved everything about it. My grandmother was a teacher and taught me many things before I ever learned them in school. She fostered a love for education that I will be forever grateful for.

My fondest memories are of school-- it was my happy place from a not so happy homelife. I felt validated, smart, important and those feelings impacted me greatly. I also met my future husband in sixth grade as we competed for Student Council president-- he won (and I learned alot about not always winning, not always being at the top, etc) I loved school!

I loved seeing my friends every day! As kids we don't realize how easy it is for life to get in the way. Things were so simple back then...
