This kit is so cute... I agree with everyone that brand new school supplies were always really exciting, but I really enjoyed lunch time, especially when we would have no bake chocolate butter balls. We had Moms who worked in our kitchen and cooked us Homemade cookies. It was really Yummy!

definitely loved the new school supplies, labelling them all, putting pretty covers on my books, lining up the new sharp pencils. And now I get to do it all again with my 3 boys! Gotta love school!!!

I really, truly, nerd-ily, geek-ily LOVED LOVED LOVED school. I've returned - as a student and a teacher. I spend my days in a kindergarten, and my nights in graduate school. With one elementary aged son and one middle school aged son, we have almost everything covered! BRING ON THE HOMEWORK!

I used to love having my birthday celebrated at school. It was all fun - the "Birthday Girl" crown, the class singing to you, and passing out treat bags that mom put together for my special day.

I always liked school. I loved reading and learning history. These still fit with my hobbies of genealogy and scrapbooking!! I also work in a middle school and love those 6th graders.

I loved school! I was really thankful for my Spanish teacher, though. She loved us, believed in us, and took us to Mexico to sleep in hammocks over dirt floors. Niiice.

I have many memories I love, but I'll submit two... the first is The First Day of school. Wearing that new outfit that I'd been looking at in my closet for a month and secretly wearing when my mom wasn't home. A new backback holding my super cool Charlies Angels lunchbox with that awesome thermos that I'd take cambells soup in. The second one is after school, running home just in time to sit down and watch the Brady Bunch and enjoying warm chocolate chip cookies with milk before having to do my homework (which was not my most favorite memory)

I was always excited to start a new school year. In a way it was a new beginning, new friends, a new schedule and of course new SCHOOL SUPPLIES!!! Now that I'm all grown up and I have a little guy in elementary school I have a chance to get excited about buying school supplies all over again. Except this time they're not for me :( Can you believe my 1st grader had highlighters on his school supply list? He also needed erasable pens for 1st grade Music??? Gosh, what kind of school supplies will he need in middle school??? :)
