"How was your flight?"

This morning, as Simon enjoyed his bagel & cream cheese in the company of his sweet cousin Gabrielle, he asked, "How was your flight?"
My sister & Gabrielle (who is just a month younger than Anna) arrived last night from the East coast. So happy to have them here for Halloween.
My sister is a bit of a secret keeper when it comes to costumes so I'm not sure what she's got up her sleeves just yet. For the first time in I-don't-know-how-long I've also got a costume planned. I think I'll keep that a secret too until we get some photos on Halloween. Our new neighborhood is supposed to be Halloween-central so I'm all jazzed up about the prospects to actually have some kids knock on our door.
After Simon headed off to school Jessica and I took the girls out on an adventure to Costco and Trader Joes.
It was a really good morning. Lots of stuff checked off my list home-wise. Even better to have great company along for the ride.

Not fun. A 4-hour delay in Denver!

What a wonderful cousin/big brother/nephew/son. And so grown up all of the sudden! You all are going to have such fun together this weekend - happy for all of you and EAGER to see the pictures!

Have a great visit with your sister. I had three brothers!! It is always Home Depot or hardware store. He wheels a mean screw driver and did put up shelves for"My Studio." I'll keep him. Happy Halloween. Can see the family resemblance between Gabrielle and Simon.

Hi Kat - I actually brought those home with me on a trip to Amsterdam!
I have the same glassware. Got them at William-Sonoma last Christmas.
They're made in France. We have those also, from Williams-Sonoma.

Simon is so sweet, he will make a great dad one dad since he's already a caring, loving little boy. How fun for you and Anna to have company and someone to hang out with and play with. I was an only child so my girl cousins were my "sisters". It's so much fun to get together with them now that we're all grown up. Sounds like you have a wonderful visit planned.
