Weekend Life In Pictures
Tags:Chris looking for some new glasses after seeing The Social Network (which we both liked) on Saturday.
The kids had a little Grandma & Grandpa time at the beach.
It might be tough to see on this one but there's a boy on one end and a kite on the other.
Thanks Mom & Dad for loving these two so very much and for loving to take photos.
On Sunday morning I ran in the Eugene Race for the Cure.
Pouring. And lots and lots of pink.
Still pouring after 3.1 miles. According to Nike+ my time was 25.57. Haven't seen the official chip-time number yet (hoping it's not off by too much since my goal was to be under 30 mins).
I was happy. I like doing this kind of stuff. Good cause and good for me. Thanks again to those of you who donated! Because of you I reached my goal of $1000 for the Komen Foundation.
Heading over to the coast to pick up the kids. Gotta love fall in Oregon.
I think he's excited for Halloween. My parents found him the jacket at JC Penny's and the hat is borrowed from our friend Kim. Indian Jones may go after bad guys, Simon goes after Heffalumps (a reference to a Winnie The Pooh movie he still enjoys).
Look for another December Daily post coming later today over on my Projects Blog.

Excellent run time! I am expecting, with baby girl due in one week...I cannot wait to get back to my running! I'm hoping to participate in the 2011 Eugene Marathon 5K, so we'll see! btw, love the coast drive photo. I live in the Umpqua Valley and there really is no other state I'd rather live in. Oregon is beautiful this time of year!

So cool; my race number yesterday was 290 in my first triathlon! Although our weather was absolutely gorgeous in coastal Georgia! Way to go!

Hey Ali,
Just looking at your pictures, and noticed that you had your ipod in when you were running. What kind of music do you listen to when you're running to keep you going?

hi ali, am sorry to post this under the comment section. I recall a while ago when u put up a photobook on anna, chris and simon. With a baby coming along the way, i was hoping to get inspiration from that blog post but was unable to find it. Could u let me know which month archives it would be under? Thanks a lot! :) :)

Hi Gwen - it's not familiar off the top of my head. A digital photobook? An album? A baby book? If you can give me a bit more info I'm happy to help!

Hey Ali, I see that Simon will be Indy for Halloween. My 9 year old was that the year before last and I used mascara and brown eye shadow to rough up his face with stubble.
Here's a link to a pic of how it turned out.
