Tuesday Giveaway | Picture The Holidays Online Workshop
Three people will receive a spot in Tracey Clark's Picture The Holidays at Big Picture Classes.
One of the things I'm personally looking forward to in December is getting a daily email from my friend Tracey Clark. Some days I might incorporate the prompt into what story I choose to tell in my December Daily and other days it might simply be something I store away in my inspiration bank for another time.
Picture the Holidays
Picture the Holidays is a photo centric daily guide to creatively and mindfully celebrating the season. This workshop will be a wonderful companion class for those creating a December Daily album!
With as much light and magic this time of year can bring, it's easy to be equally hurried and harried. This 30-day (actually 31!) e-class is the perfect remedy for the holiday hustle. Seasonal photo prompts delivered to your inbox each morning will not only inspire your inner photographer but will encourage you to take a few moments to yourself each day to get creatively centered, one photo at a time.
This season, you are invited to call upon the divine intervention of your own camera and Picture the Holidays with us!

I would like to capture some of the tender moments between my daughter and her great grandfather. We lost her great grandmother last month so we are enjoying every moment we have with "Pop".

My kids are still relatively small and the magic is still there. I'm hoping to catch that look of wonder and innocence they have. Yesterday my husband started leaving little peppermint candies in their shoes at night and they are beside themselves giddy. We now have a house elf!

I'm looking forward to capturing all the moments of my son actually "getting it" this year--he's almost 2 so I think he'll understand the concept of opening presents which he didn't really get last year at this time, and he may even be more receptive to a visit with Santa! These are precious once-in-a-lifetime moments I really hope to see through the lens!

I love, mostly, to capture relationships, then I also love the challenge of capturing the wonder of the season as it reflects in our younger children's eyes.

I recently moved from a p+s to DSLR. One thing I've been trying to learn is night/low light photography. I got some practice at Halloween with pumpkins but am really looking foward to all the opportunities that present at Christmas! Those photos feel so indicative of the season to me.

My kids are growing up, minute by minute. I hope to capture a bit of the softness and innocence that is sometimes forgotten in the chaos of our days.

I've always wanted to take pictures of some of our favorite tree ornaments while they are on the tree. So this year that's my plan! Soon my boys will be moving out on their own and taking all of their ornaments with them so i need to get this done this year.
