December Daily 2010 | Day Seventeen

What an awesome photo of Simon going to the bus! My son gets picked up by his bus at 6:10- not too good for photos then!! I am sitting down this weekend to get started (yes, started) on my album- I have all the stuff, just not the photos printed yet. Things are crazy this time of year! Have a great weekend.

I wish I had time to look at AND comment on each beautiful book that's being worked on. Ahhh, but my project time is fleeting. I still have several to complete, so the rush is on. My eldest and his wife (LOVE them!) arrive for 2 weeks tomorrow, so I'm aiming for some R&R time with them... We'll see!

And with today's post, since I'm going the whole month, I'm now half way done! Woo hoooo!

Ali~ Your page (and your album) are so inspiring! I love seeing how your album has progressed. The transformation from "blank" pages to your daily life this December has been incredible. I had set out to make my first ever December Daily this year, and was so excited at the prospect and all the possibilities, but here we are, December 18th, and I haven't even started. Oh well, maybe next year!

I really love that picture of Simon walking towards the bus. You printed that at home on your HP? Wow. My HP always looks off to me on the colors.

Loving your pages Ali!! I am TRYING to keep up with everything but its been tough. I have the framework pages done, and I have been keeping track of what I want to write about for each day, and taking photos to go with BUT I have yet to put one whole day w/all three components together. I'm hoping I get some time to work on it soon. I sooo can't wait to see the finished project.

I am finding it harder and harder to keep up. But I'm scared if I slip behind and play catch-up later I'll miss a lot of the important details in the stories that make the discipline of this project so rewarding. Thank you for the encouragement your faithful daily postings are, Ali. I seem to need the accountability.

Hey there - I'll speak up as one of those people who is still working but not linking just yet. for me, it's gotten busy so I'm keeping a word document where I journal each day to capture what was going on and make references to the photos I want to use so when I actually have time to put it all together I know what I want and I won't forget the little details. I'll have Days 1-4 up this week and hopefully more will be done before christmas. But if not, I'm still ok with it and I'll link up when I actually finished, if that's still an option.
Thanks for your inspiration Ali, I know with just the little bit I've gotten done that this is going to be one of our favorite family albums!
