Three people will receive a word necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
Lisa's been a great supporter of One Little Word the past few years and came up with a really lovely design for this year's words. For 2011, "the word of the year necklace is a thick, narrow tag with a large ball, strung from sterling chain and finished with a freshwater pearl. we'll hand-stamp the tag with your very own word."
A simple necklace is a wonderful way to commemorate your one little word.

I am thankful for my entire family, but especially for a second chance with my father. He was diaznosed with a nasty form of dementia called Lewy Body Dementia. He was memory wise in a pretty bad state, we found a great doctor that knew what he was seeing and changed my dad's medicine. He is now alert, cognitive of all of us and close to being "Dad" again. I am so thankful for these days with him.

I am grateful for change in our lives. I was unemployed, now my husband and I moved to a new city and went back to school. I am thankful for purpose, for a new direction, for my family and for this hobby that gives the opportunity to pay attention to the little details in life.

I am grateful for all of the experiences that our family went through this year. From my oldest son's rare disease and life threatening allergic reactions, to my daughter's broken finger, to my youngest concussion, to having dinner together at our dinning room table every night, to spending time laughing and having fun playing wii as a family, to really learning what life, love, and faith are all about! Thank 2010 for teaching so many amazing lessons!

I'm grateful for the usual wonderful things in my life - an amazing husband, terrific daughters, a roof overhead, sales of artwork, and health, but something new in 2010 was my experiments with thru-the-viewfinder photography. I'll list gratitude for finding a duaflex kodak camera and making a system to take TTV photos which sparked a new way to collect images for future paintings!

I am grateful for Mr L and Baba. We have had a tough year, in more ways than one, Mr L has had a hard year health wise and has just recently been diagnosed with two conditions. But we are strong and we are getting through them both as a family.
I am so grateful for the love we have as a family otherwise Mr L may still not be here right now that alone is what has pulled him through this distressing year.
I am also grateful for his BF he has come home from the forces and has given Mr a new lease of live it was a tough time for us all while he was fighting and we all prayed daily that he would make it and he did. This I am so grateful for! xx
