Three people will receive a word necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
Lisa's been a great supporter of One Little Word the past few years and came up with a really lovely design for this year's words. For 2011, "the word of the year necklace is a thick, narrow tag with a large ball, strung from sterling chain and finished with a freshwater pearl. we'll hand-stamp the tag with your very own word."
A simple necklace is a wonderful way to commemorate your one little word.

In 2010 my word was "Believe" as a prompt to work on my own beliefs and to have faith and believe in my own children and what they can do. It has been beautiful to watch and wait and observe that they are now their own person with confidence in their own abilities. My beliefs are becoming more centred and that has only come through believing in myself....

I am grateful that my husband found work again and it brought us all the way to Montreal! I am able to use my french and our kids are learning new cultures - even though Montreal is still Canada it's pretty different from the rest of Canada. New Town, New Adventure!

I am thankful that the overwhelming feeling of helplessness, worry and fright is over, as my son was finally diagnosed...and with something so managable it is sometimes laughable. We are so very blessed and lucky that he is alright. <3

Thankful that I left "my life" in CO in July to move back to NY (with the family) to be with my mother for what turned out to be her final months with us. She passed 12-11-10 after a year long courageous battle with lung cancer, stroke, and other realted issues. An amazing and unique woman.

I'm grateful for ....Grace, my almost 16 year old daughter, who re-emerged as the lovely, thoughtful and kind daughter I remembered after teenage hormones held her captive (and angry, and hating her Mom) for the better part of a year. Welcome back, sweetie - I missed you so much.

I am taking part of one little word for the first time this year. Like everything else in life you have to be ready to make the changes.
This is the year for me.
