Three people will receive a word necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
Lisa's been a great supporter of One Little Word the past few years and came up with a really lovely design for this year's words. For 2011, "the word of the year necklace is a thick, narrow tag with a large ball, strung from sterling chain and finished with a freshwater pearl. we'll hand-stamp the tag with your very own word."
A simple necklace is a wonderful way to commemorate your one little word.

I am grateful for my amazing and supportive friends and family. They saw me through five months of chemo, making sure I never had to go alone and my family was always taken care of in my absence.

I'm thankful for losing my job...I know that seems an odd thing to be thankful for but it was a hostile work environment and not having that daily stress in my life has been a godsend. It's also allowed me to explore new possibilities!

I am grateful for a year without a hurricane (I live in Houston and really don't want to experience another hurricane like hurricane Ike)!

I'm with you, Laurie. My month with a generator during Ike was enough for me!

In 2010, I learned how to feel more and think less. I am thankful to be following my heart more than my head.

This year I am so very grateful for my son's progress. As an eleven year old boy with Autism, he has conquered many hurdles this past year, and grown tremendously. I'm grateful for his teachers, aides, and therapists, and for their patience and care.
