My favorite way to take a break is to go through my Google Reader to look through all the fantastic ways people are scrapping and card making. I may not always have the time to sit down with my own supplies, but those few minutes I can flip through pretty pictures and fantastic ideas always makes me smile. :) Aparna

I like to take a break by doing some yoga, going for a walk or run, or in general doing something physical to clear my mind.

My favorite way to take a break is during my daughter's naptime, when I sit down and read or watch a show on tv.

Taking a break .... either a book, catching up online, or watching my TiVo'd shows at night.

Oh, do let me count the myriad ways in which I like to take breaks from my busy life. Crafting, first and foremost, by scrapbooking, knitting, or redecorating one of my dollhouses. Then, it's all about seeing a really good movie and discussing that film with my dh. It's browaing my favorite fabric store or furniture store. It's sometimes just sitting in the car in the driveway and listening to the songs I used to enjoyn when I was very pregnant with my kids. Oh, yeah. And learning to just meditate and breathe. Breathing's cool.

Every night I take a bath and read a just-for-fun book. I may only get one chapter before the kids or husband need me, but I always allow myself the time to read at least one chapter.

If I am reading a good book, it is a treat to take a break and read. Or I watch something I recorded.

I don't believe that a break has to be a passive activity, just a change up. Believe it or not I take a break by playing video games...the tougher the better. It's an escape but also keeps my mind active and happy. Ironically that relaxes me.

My break time usually involves paper and adhesive. For the past couple of months I've only had time to do cards and bookmarks -- but both give me "break time".

My favorite is to go up in the alps and watch the problems become smaller step by step as all the houses in the valley do.
If this is not possible i'll end up with blog hopping ;-)

I wish I could say scrapbooking, but sadly that isn't the case anymore. Going to the gym is very important for my health so I go and listing to really loud music on my ipod and take a break-I don't allow myself to think about anything stressful.

For me, taking a break means sitting down on the couch with a drink and my iPhone (or my hubby's iPad!) and surfing the net. :)
Thanks for the chance to win!
