Join Kelly Purkey and friends for Sketchbook 3! This is a self-paced four week class filled with fresh sketches, easy instructions, beautiful examples, and lots of fun. From April 4th to April 29th a PDF will be delivered to your inbox every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. By the end of the class, you'll have a complete sketchbook of 12 original sketches, 38 layouts, and an additional 38 sketches based on those creative pages. All of the examples are brand new layouts, exclusive to this class... you won't see them anywhere else. The best part is that you will be receiving an example layout from Kelly for each of the sketches, along with two (or more) example layouts from a very talented contributor. Thank you for such a fun giveaway!! I'm so looking forward to seeing the grass free of snow/rain/mud/ice... it has been the worst winter in a long time for us. Usually I'm in no rush for Spring but this year I'm anxious for it to get here. It's not just the pretty colors that will be popping out but just knowing my kids can finally go outside and run on the grass and yell and let out all their energy, COME ON SPRING WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU!!

I'm so looking forward to being outside with my kids. We will go out right after breakfast, lunch on a picnic blanket and grilling for dinner with some fun playing in between!

Since I live in the Northeast now and having been blasted with so much snow this year, I have to say that I am super excited to see the grass and the roads again. I have also loved seeing the first flowers coming out; it's really nice to see colors other than gray or white.

Playing outside.. my 2 year old (wait, she would correct me and say 2 and a half year old) can't wait to play outside with her swing, her bubbles, her scooter, walk to the bus stop, do to the library and THEN the playground... just seeing the joy in her totally worth it to me..

Always, it's the bulbs coming up. The crocuses and daffodills sometimes show their heads even before the snow clears. This year, I got to explain spring symbolisim and the merging of christian and pagan to bring us the easter bunny and eater eggs.

Just built a new home. Did the preliminary walkthrough on Friday. It was an early perfect spring day with fantastic breezes. To top it off I'll be living across the street from my grandchildren. We had the first grilling of the season and sat out on their deck looking at the moon and stars. It doesn't get any better than that day.
