Purge every Spring!! Use it as an opportunity to get rid of things around the house you've not used in the past year. I challenge myself to do that twice a year.

My spring cleaning tip is pretty simple - I send the children to the grand-parents for the weekend, while dh and I tackle one room at a time. Amazing how much easier it is without little hands offering to help!

Favorite spring clean tip: ask my housekeeper to do some deep cleaning each time I'm traveling and haven't used the place very much since her last visit. Works for both of us!

My favorite spring cleaning trip is "a little each day."

I just love to open the windows on the first day that I can shut the heat off! It airs out all those trapped winter smells and lets the sunshine in!

I ask myself two questions: have I used/worn it in the past year? do I love it? If I answer no to these questions, it gets donated!

open up all the windows, give everyone a dust rag, vacuum everything, then tackle closets and drawers. Then we load up the car and take everything to goodwill. It's amazing how much stuff accumulates over the winter!

Spring Cleaning Tip: Put on the music, loud, of course, and clean to the music while taking needed breaks. If you try to do too much, you will wear yourself down and not want to get back into it the next day!

I'm the last person to ask for cleaning tips! :) Hmm....perhaps I could suggest Merry Maids? LOL! The class sounds awesome!

Set a timer for 20 minute increments and you'll see just how much you get accomplished. Pick one drawer/shelf/cubby to clean out per day.Thanks for the chance to win!

My year-round cleaning tip is 'never leave a room empty-handed.' I call my kids the re-distributors of the house. So I am always putting something back where it belongs :)
