Spring Break In Photos
Tags:On Saturday night the kids and I returned from a week of visiting my sister and her family in Charlotte, North Carolina.
We went to parks, to swimming pools, to kid's museums, and ate out at kid-friendly restaurants. We went to story time at Borders. We celebrated Gabrielle's second birthday with a really great party. The kids ate a ton of popsicles. We had lots of hugs and kisses and "I love you" with a few "my toys" thrown in for good measure. We ate popcorn and watched Sesame Street and in the evenings Jessica, Simon and I hung out on the couch watching TV and playing on our computers. My sister and I did a bunch of high-5's as we passed each other on our way to retrieve our respective kids from their car seats.
We spent a good amount of time just hanging out on my sister's couch.
It was just right.

Looks like a very nice week for all of you! I'm on spring break this week and am cleaning/reorganizing so there isn't a lot of fun but it will feel good to get things done.

It looks like you and the children enjoyed a wonderful visit to Charlotte - which is a great area to be in!
But I loved your comment about the time spent hanging out on the couch! When I'm visiting my best friends (whom, as an only child, I consider my sisters), the "doing stuff" is always fun...but there's such wonderful value and satisfying blessing in the low-key, "hanging out at home," too. =)

Love it when you share your weekend in photos.
I live in your sisters neck of the woods. Which museums did ya'll go to and would you go back to them again? Looking for some fun summer activities for the kids.

We went to Discovery Place (downtown) and Discovery Place Kids. Would definitely go back to both - they were great.

Love the girls in their matching pajamas. So fun...and brings back memories of all the matching outfits my one-week-younger cousin and I wore. And that just sparked an idea for a layout!
