Sponsor Giveaways | The Mother Load, Summer Card Camp 2011
GIVEAWAY |One person will receive a spot in Lain Ehmann's upcoming 13-week online class at Big Picture Classes: The Mother LOAD: A Scrapbook Marathon
SPECIAL OFFER | In addition to receive $20 off of The Mother LOAD use code: load2011
Are you a marathon scrapbooker? Do you want to be? As crazy as it may sound, scrapbookers have a lot in common with runners. Both can run into the same problems – lack of time, isolation, a routine that has become more of a drudgery than a help. The good news? You can easily overcome these obstacles.
No, Lain won’t make you run 26.2 miles in just a few hours – but she will challenge you to scrapbook 26 layouts in 26 days! Through The Mother LOAD - A Scrapbook Marathon, part of the 4Experts series for 2011, Lain will show you how committing to making scrapbooking a priority in your life will help you:
Scrapbook faster
Love your pages more
Actually USE your stash
Connect with what you love best about this hobby of ours
The first two months of class will be spent on “basic training” to increase your stamina, refine your process, and get you mentally and physically ready for the ultimate challenge: creating a layout a day for the first 26 days of September. After you cross the finish line, there will be time for reflection – and celebration!
For more information, and to register, please visit The Mother LOAD.

Wow! Great giveaway! One thing that inspired me this week was the June kit from Jenni Bowlin. I will be married 25 years on the 27th so I can see some fun layouts!

I often read this blog when I feel like my day is just sucky or things are not going my way. This woman I have met in passing and you would never know that she is dealing with the loss of her son at only the age of 7. She is truly inspiring to me and I thought I would share. I dont have a cute crafty website or a new shoe that I am dieing to have to share that inspires me. Just this one. It might be a little gloomy, a little sad but It just makes me be in the moment with my two little ones and help me be a better picture taker/ scrapbooker because I want to remember every moments of my two little ones! The marathon scrap would be amazing to be a part of :)

Thanks for the chance to win a spot in these classes. This necklace (http://www.etsy.com/listing/62814077/you-are-braver-than-you-believe-necklace)inspired me. I want to use it as the basis of a layout for my 13-year-old daughter.

The young man's story... to rise from adversity like that and have the courage to share his talent (which he seems extraordinarily humble about) with the public. Awesome.

Something that inspired me this past week was visiting Legoland with my 7 year old son. It inspired me to scrapbook our first trip there in 2008 when he was 4-1/2 years old! It was fun to compare the photos of then and now and how he has grown!

Soul Restoration (Brave Girls Club) has inspired me. I need to do a "recheck" on my life, and from what I have heard from friends who have taken it, it is exactly what I need right now.

This isn't from this past week but I have kept this "unread" in my blog reader so I can see it as a reminder to myself.
