Something special about me: I am a mom to 2 boys with very serious medical conditions; experiencing all of the challenges and the miracles has made me into one grateful mama. :)

I am 59 years old and I'm moving 1254 miles to be near my grand daughter Lucy, she is almost 3, so I can teach her how to be an artist!

my generosity ... i just completed the susan g komen 3 day for a cure and with 1700 of my fellow walkers raised $4.8 MILLION :)

What's so special about me? Hmmm, the cursor has been blinking for a couple of minutes. I wonder if this question was meant to be taken so seriously? I'm gonna go with my daughter and the fact that I get to be a mom. It comes so easy for some, but for others, like me, it took years of trying to get pregnant before I was blessed with this most amazing job. Yes, being a mom, that makes me special enough.

This topic made me think. I would have to say I am special because I am a loving mother and wife, caring teacher to middle school students,and a giving person in general. I am blessed! Thanks for the opportunity to win!

I am teaching a new generation the art and love of crafting.
My grand daughters always ask to do art when they come, whethers its scrapbooking or working in their journal books that I gave.
Just yesterday I was working with 1 grand daughter on doodling tangles, she's aware of different mixed media's from spending "art time" with Grandma.
I think it is something they will continue to develop and love through their lifetime.

So difficult to say what is special about me, I try to live my life as good as I can.

No matter what's going on (my kids are pulling each other's hair and screaming right now... maybe I should intervene? :)), I can always find something to laugh about. I'm good at finding the joy in the moment! (yes, denial is occasionally helpful, too!)

I am not anymore special than the thousands of other women who juggle home, kids, work and activities every day. I am married three kids and 2 and 2/3 granddaughters(one coming soon) What I feel is a good thing about me is that In my spare time I manage a food pantry for Swansea-Shiloh Illinois serving over 100 people a month supplementing there food needs. I work full time evenings as a Respiratory Therapist, love history, genealogy and of course scrapping. Thanks you for the opportunity to win something to make the process more creative!!!!!

I am special because of my beautiful family who loves me and each other!

I am fortunate to be loved by my wonderful partner, Carl. And to have beautiful children, Shaun and Casey. And for their wifes, Amanda and Sarah. And now, an new chapter in my life: Grandmother to beautiful Adeline! Does this make me exceptional? Maybe not, but I can honestly say that being surrounded by such love, I feel that I am the most blessed of people.

Ali, The inspiration to really look at ones life and see all the positives is so important to us all. We get hung up on being perfect,trying to be like celebraties,and become disatisfied with our lives. You have inspired us to examine ourslves and see that we are phenominal!! I feel my biggest strength is raising 3 good, kind and productive citizens, who are raising their own wonderful children the same way. Also,I am a well loved grandma (my favorite role in life!!!!)

I am a special person because i've worked the last 14 yrs. with special needs children, because i also have a special needs child and I wanted to be more involved in her life and learniing,i'm also a full time student with 3 young adult children 18,19,21 who all live at home . i do so much for other people and ask nothing in return and my biggest or should i say second biggest (my daughter comes first ) passion in life is scrapbooking - that is my ME time to record all our lifes journeys in which she likes to do with mein her own spwecial little way.thats why i do it so she has somthing to remeber when her dad and i are long gone..

One special thing about me is that I am very accepting of others. I don't judge people but try to find their best traits to enjoy and build friendships upon.

I'm very flexible and tolerant- these traits have helped me through many a rough spot in life.

I am a mom, wife, and writer (and beginning scrapbooker/card maker). I believe in my creative endeavors, even if others (ie literary agents and publishers) don't. Persevere! Keep trying and believe in yourself. Being happy will make those you love happy.

The fact that I am still here, I feel is what makes me special, despite all of my health issues and close calls, I am able to be here with my family, I feel very special! Thanks so much for the chance to win any of the amazing prizes!
