Hold | Digital Scrapbook Layout
Tags:JOURNALING | These two. Him and her. I caught this one of the two of them while we were in Coos Bay last weekend. It’s often just Simon with his hand on her face, but this time it was a group hold. They were laying on the couch - watching some movie or another - I think it was The Lion King (it just came back in rotation again). As with any siblings it’s not all cuddles on the couch. The other thing I heard over and over again was “Anna, out of the way.” She has a habit of getting right in the line of site for any movie that might be on the TV or computer. It’s a frustration for Simon to be sure.
What I want you to know: your brother or sister might be annoying at times. They might do things that make you grumpy or stand too long in front of the tv or hug you just a little too tight. But man they love you so. They love you even in the middle of it all. Be there for them. Hug them and love them and tell them just how much you love them. I’m excited for your two lives to intertwine and hope for happiness for you both.

thats so cool Ali, I just recently got a photo of my two having cuddles on the sofa while watching a moive which doens't happen often (age gap is 8 years between my two) COdy the youngest quite often gets in the way of his sisters viewing which is so annoying, and when I saw them cuddling togehter I just had to snap some shots and will be doing a layout for each of there albums of how they love each other and its not always all cuddles as you say, and its lovely to see cuddles....lovoe this photo of your two so cute

Such a wonderful photo Ali! So great that you are documenting the importance of the sibling relationship. I lost my older sister in March and wish I had more photos, more pics, more time with her. Now my days are spent trying to remember AMAP about her to add to albums I am making for her kiddos that are now 12 and 17.
Thank you again for showing the importance of scrapbooking, documentation, and picture-taking in our lives.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Suz. The albums will be treasures for her two children. Bless you.

That photo is so perfect for the layout where even the two blocks "hold" each other. Ps: Simon has lovely hands.

This weekend I just ordered your three Simple Series layered templates, so it was fun to see how you used one of them here. I have learned so much from all of your video tutorials and examples as I am getting started on digital scrapbooking. I appreciate it all!

Love the picture...the affection Simon and Anna have for each other shines right through. I love taking those kinds of photos, and am fortunate that my family are all huggers and lap-sitters so I have quite a few pictures showing the emotional connection that is so important.

I just had one of these moments happen in front of me when my son grabbed a book and started reading to my 2 year old while I tended to my 5 year old who is sick. They cuddled up in our glider chair together and he read her 10 Rubber Duckies by Eric Carle. The part that kills me...I missed the photo op! So, do you just always carry your camera or did you go run and find it when you saw them cuddling together?
