Studio AE From Technique Tuesday Blog Hop | October

Welcome to the October Studio AE for Technique Tuesday Blog Hop!

This month's stamp set, “Give Thanks by Ali Edwards,” includes sentiments perfect for Fall layouts - especially Thanksgiving and Halloween.

Here's a layout I put together using this set:

Here's a few close up images and more information on my process:

I've been wanting to play with these stencils designed by Julie Fei-Fan Balzer for The Crafter's Warehouse.

I decided to just trace the stencil this time using a .08 Copic black pen. Looking forward to playing with these more with paint, ink, etc.

"Give thanks" was stamped onto a small manila tag (using Brown Sugar ink) and stitched on with my machine.

I stamped "halloween" and "costume" along the edge using Jenni Bowlin's Chicken Feed ink.

I started my handwritten journaling right before the stamping and continued along the left side and then down the right side.

"Gratitude is a memory of the heart" was stamped along the right edge.

And I added in a metal circle tag. Still love these. They are especially great as a home for initials. I used a 1.5 inch circle punch to punch a circle from the main photo to create a home for the circle tag.
