A few years ago I made a wonderful salmon and egg dish with a waffle base that I look forward to making, and eating every year now. And of course a great piece of peppermint chocolate is lovely too :)

Buckeyes and chocolate covered carmel corn. I swear I work all year to lose the weight I gain at Christmas :)!

By far, my favorite thing to eat during the holidays are the Spritz butter cookies my mom and I bake using my late grandma's recipe. The ones with the marashino cherries are the best!

I love the traditional foods of a New Mexico Christmas, tamales, posole, and bizcochito cookies.

My favorite THINGS to eat during the holidays are the sweets... any kind of dessert, cookie, cake, or candy. It's hard to pick a favorite. If I have to, I'll admit the peanut butter fudge I make each year is pretty awesome. (Which is why I only make it during Christmas!) Thanks Ali.
