Nothing better than my Mom's creme de menthe brownies. Wouldn't be Christmas without them. Thanks for the opportunity to win this giveaway.

My mum's plum pudding...it's a once a year treat. It's rich and very boozy and we all hunt the silver coins inside (which we get to exchange for 20c lol)

I don't seem to be able to go past a tin of Corinthians (chocolate cream wafer sticks). I've eaten two tins by myself this month all while doing my December Daily - best scrapping treat at Christmas time.

Wow...hard to pick just one! I will say my late mother-in-laws Pastichio (kind of a Greek lasagna)...which tastes just as amazing when made gluten free!

My favorite thing to eat during the holidays was my Mom's date nut bars.. coated with powdered sugar.. I remember the first time I ate one as a kid, I breathed in when I took a bite and started coughing.. lol never did that again, but they were always yummy and made me think of my Mom.. Unfortunately, she's no longer with us and I only make them occasionally. It was one of her favorites too. I think its one her Mom used to make during the holidays!

I love to eat all the traditional stuff. Everything from egg nog to prime rib on Christmas Eve. But Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without my mom's homemade cranberry bread!

Traditional European Christmas cookies. Both my husbands and my family have had them since forever. We now live across the other side of the country and both sides send us a large box full each year. It cost them more to send than it costs to make them... now thats love. As soon as we get the first batch it signals Christmas is here. P.S This year I made peppermint bark for the first time and yummmmmmmy!!!! thats our new tradition.

It's hard to pick one favourite: my mom's shortbread or maybe cheese and mushroom stuffed chicken rolls(a Christmas Eve tradition) or, I am slightly embarrased to say, Turtles. Those turtles remind me of many moments from past holidays.
Thanks Ali. Off to pick up a(nother) box or two of Turtles!
