My favorite thing to eat during the holidays is gingerbread!

I love to eat pumpkin pie.

I love the Swedish Kringle my Mom makes. It would not be the same without it.

I am loving Trader Joes dark chocolate sea salt caramels... such a nice treat :)

My family always makes tamales during this season. And what I love more than eating them is the time spent together making them. Love this tradition.

My favorite thing to eat during the holidays would have to be leftover pie crust. My mom always has leftover crust dough after she makes her pies. She rolls the leftover dough out flat and sprinkles a little butter, cinnamon and sugar on it. Then she bakes it. When it's done, she breaks it up into flat pieces (like peppermint bark or almond roca rough shapes). It is SO delicious. She puts a plate of it on the table with other munchies (veggies and dip, chips, fruit) before dinner. I look forward to it every year. :)

I grew up celebrating a traditional Polish Christmas or Wigilia. It is a meatless Christmas. My favorite is my mom's cream of mushroom soup. I get to make it this year.

Definitely mince pies! It's an English tradition and I have so many memories of my mom making them, leaving them by the fireplace for Santa and eating them with my dad. Love those mince pies!

Durning the holidays, I love to make and eat home made cookies: chocolate chip, peanut butter, butter scotch, and dippity dos. I also like my mothers cranberry orange nut bread. Yum! I am looking forward to making and eating all of these things this week!
