My favorite thing to eat around the holidays is homemade chex mix. My grandma always seemed to be making a batch when we'd arrive at her house as kids for Christmas. It's the best snack!

For me around the holidays, it's not so much about what I like to eat (although that's what you asked for), but it's more about how much I enjoy making goodies to share with family and friends. Every year I make cookies for my husband to take in for his staff and I make special diabetic cookies for the security guard of their building who always makes a point to stop by and check on my husband when he works late. I do enjoy a good chocolate chip cookie now and then too!

I live in Northern Australia so it is summer time for us. My favourite things to eat are tropical fruits - Mango and Lychees are traditional Christmas fruits for us.

One of my favorite things to eat at Christmas is homemade fudge.

I love all the different "samplers" we get at work during the holidays - tins of different cookies, nuts, popcorn, etc.

My favorite thing to eat during the holiday is probably stuffing made with cornbread, french bread, apples and sausage and stuffed into the turkey. I might be the only one in the world that still stuffs a turkey but it just is not as good if its baked in a pan.

Ice cream is my favorite thing to eat!!!
