One Little Word 2012 | The Reading Of The Words
Tags:I'm so excited to have Liz Lamoreux join me again this year for a reading of the words. You can hear her read the 2011 list here.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Click here to listen to the reading of the words.
Liz is a dear friend, a wonderful retreat leader, and a jewelry designer. Check out her beautiful collection of soul mantras and other stories in her etsy shop. She made a new one for me this year (I like the locket style) that I'm adding to my necklace from last year.
Registration is still open for One Little Word (and will remain open throughout the year). The simple premise is to make your word more visible for you throughout the year with a single, focused creative prompt at the beginning of each month. Joining up is not a huge time commitment over the course of the year and you don't have to be into scrapbooking to participate.

I really love "The reading of the words"!
I accessed the post of the last year to hear Liz reading my Portuguese word (conviver) and I loved her laughing after reading the word. These words are music to the ears!
Thanks, Ali and Liz!

[...] Ali Edwards is sort of a scrapbooking rock star. I’ve learned alot about journaling, art and seeing my world, just a little differently from her. http://aliedwards.com/2012/01/one-little-word-2012-the-reading-of-the-words.html [...]

I wanted to add my word to the list although it is already there...Imagine. This word really spoke to me for this year. Last year my word was Verve, and wow, what a year it was! Things I never imagined possible happened over and over again. I've decided that I'll focus on imagining the possibilities this year. The year will probably be off the charts! Thanks for an amazing experience last year and can't wait to begin the journey this year. All of your hard work to make this project possible is truly changing lives.

[...] Over the past six years, I’ve held a single word close each year: play (2006), peace (2007), vitality (2008), nurture (2009), story (2010), and light (2011). My word for 2012 happens to be the same as Layla’s, and you can click HERE to read about why I chose the word up this year. You can also see a compilation of the words my readers chose for 2012 HERE, and you can listen to my friend, Liz Lamoreux, read all the words HERE. [...]

Faboulous list! I don't rememebr reading this last year, but I found the concept of OLW through Layla Palmer.
DH and I chose NOURISH. our marriage, our children, my health. It was perfect. I recovered my planner bc I did not like the front and I used fantastic epoxy stickers to spell it out on the front. Yesterday I recovered next years and was thinking about what word we might use, so I came googling to find the list I found last year. Still have not found that post (not yours) but I think I found our word for 2013. :)
