One Little Word 2012 | The Words

How about GIGGLE... want to remember to not take things so seriously this coming year and enjoy everything - good and bad.

Is it too late to add my word? My word finally settled on me: tide
My zodiac sign is Aquarius and this year I have so many changes coming that I know of (can't imagine what I don't!) and tide being the ebb and flow of the oceans just seems to fit. Whew...feeling a little bit teary...looking forward to OLW. Off to join the BPC class. Thanks, Ali for being so brave and generous with your talents and gifts!

I have decided to pick the word SENSE. I liked this word because in my job and around me a need to and want to understand how the people around me feel. I also want to become aware of what God is doing in my life. I feel that SENSE is a great word to sum up what I would like to experience and see in the New Year!

Love the list. Humbling to read. My word is "walk". Anxious to get this started but finishing up my December daily lol!

I read an incredible blog post today on parenting - in particular the challenge of it - and in doing so my "One Little Word" found me. It is kairos, meaning "the appointed time in the purpose of God." In 2012 i will seek to recognize and differentiate between chronos time and kairos time - being mindful and thankful for the latter most of all. I may be too late ... but my word for this year, is "dance". Choosing one last year was so very helpful, that I am looking forward to be exploring how this will shape and resonate in my life this year; and wishing you every success, Ali, with yours.

My word: MONSTER
I want to have a MONSTER of a time in everything that I will do this year! Be a MONSTER - loud, big, cannot be ignored and cannot get lost in a crowd, noticeable. Also, I want to conquer the MONSTERS in my closet this year so I can live an authentic life!

Hi Ali, Thanks for the inspiration. My word is impact. This is my first year, combining my version of project life and one little word in one album.

My little word for 2012 is "aglow" to be aglow with the Lord's Spirit everyday no matter what the circumstances may bring...what a hard word to protray thorough out the year....working on it!!

Word is "Beyond"...whatever or whenever you think you can't achieve something, think beyond it, and you will surpass your expectations. Don't try to just meet it, but beat it, surpass it. And if you don't succeed, think beyond today, and look towards tomorrow. Always moving forward, beyond the past, beyond the now. Thank you, Ali.

My OLW is 'actualize' as in 'make real'. LOVE this list and all the intentions that created it. ;)

You have my word already on your list--reduce. I truly love reduce though, and I've written about it on my blog.

But you don't have the one my older brother chose: ASK
I'm proud of him for that--being the oldest has always been both a blessing and a curse, and as an adult, he has NEVER asked for help to do anything, and refuses help when it's offered.
