Join In | A Day In The Life + Dates For 2012 Week In The Life

I've been thinking about doing a separate day for each of my kids focusing on one at a time to include in each of their annual photo albums. I like hOw Week in the Life focuses on our family as a whole, but a day in the life could be specific to each child. Guess now is the time to get it done! Thanks for the inspiration!

well.. i'll try it for sure.. Having lost my iphone i just wonder how i'll make it possible to take pictures while at the office but i may find something !!!

I'm for both as well. Last time I did the Week my dog died the first day, but I did my week anyway but didn't post it. I hope for a more normal week and day this time althought I have a nice tribute to my dog.

Yay! I am excited both to have the dates for Week in the Life and to consider the idea of Day in the Life. And as I sit here typing that, I realize how absurd it might sound to think that I have to "wait" to do these types of projects...but I guess that speaks more to the idea of doing it with a community than just because. I hope?

I've never done A Day in the Life. I was looking at your archives for an example of the last one you've done...do you have a link to share?

Eww ewwww...I'm due that week and since its our first I'm sure that week will be super special and full of excitement. Can't wait!!

I'm in. Also love the idea of doing a day for each child. Maybe I'll print off 3 sheets: one for me/hubs, one for each child. hmmm....

Yes! When you did WITL this past summer, it was a crazy busy time for us (new baby, moving, renovation, etc.) so I was only able to capture one day. I added it to my PL and was so glad I did. Life with a new born is such a blur and looking back at what I documented was so special. I still can't believe how much we had going on.

Looking forward to Wednesday. Do you think you'll be using a template for you photos that day?

It's a lot of fun to document a day in our lives!

Looking forward to both DITL and WITL. Although, I haven't done anything with the pictures I took for WITL this past summer...except get them printed, which is HUGE just all on its own! I just cut back on the number of hours I'm working every week so I can have more time for these types of projects, along with my normal scrapbooking!

So Excited. It's on my calendar!

Week In the Life added to April calendar - but I'll be starting the 22nd - Sunday-Saturday fits my brain better :). Also will do the Day in the Life this week - should be fun to play during an OSU-work-day! Have my Wed. sheet already printed & ready to go! Fun stuff Ali - thanks.

so excited for WITL!!

I'd love to join you but we've just had a "major" blow to our usual schedule- not sure what I'd capture for sure. Until today we've worked 7-4 since probably 2003 or so- before that it was 4-10's at 7-6. We're now working 8-5 and it feels like total craziness to me- probably because I'm very much a morning and early to bed person and am now having to shift my entire day around so that I don't lose the hour. So, Wednesday won't be ordinary in that sense. But, the change in schedule will make A Week in the Life very different from the past years.

In for a day in for a week!
