We are blessed to share our home with two cats - Liffey and Jupiter. In addition to the difference in ages, their personalities are very different though and there are times when they tolerate each other at best. Today however, Jupiter surprised us....Liffey was due for a trip to the vets and had cottoned onto the plan but was clearly not having any of it. We had managed to grab her but she was making sure the whole world could hear her protests. Jupiter suddenly went 'renegade' and leapt to her defense. Despite the fact that this meant he was attacking my husband and I, it was very cute indeed!

My happy little moment from today was all about family. In the back of my freezer I found a bag of "Serious Coffee" my sister gave me quite a while ago. It is her favourite coffee from a little place in Duncan, British Columbia. She lives there and sent it to me in Ontario to remind me of our last visit together, which was several years ago. I brewed some, sat and thought of all the fun we had as I drank it, and when her time caught up with mine...called her to tell how much I miss her and care for her. It was awesome.

My best happy little moments from today: my son thanking me, with kisses and cuddles, for making him his favourite eggs and pancakes for his breakfast before we headed off for school. And then an 'I wuv you' from my 2-year old daughter as she woke up and came to give me a cuddle. Yum.
