Studio AE From Technique Tuesday | February Blog Hop
Tags:Welcome to the Studio AE for Technique Tuesday Blog Hop.
February's stamp set is “Favorite Story” and includes 8 sentiment-based stamps.
DIGITAL VERSION | If you are a digital scrapbooker or would like a digital version of these stamps they are available through Designer Digitals: Life Is Good.
Here's a look at a layout I created that includes the new set:
I really like how this one turned out. Fun to switch things up by orienting the page on a diagonal.
For this layout I stamped the sentiments onto cardstock first and then trimmed them to the desired width. After that I cut strips of pattern paper to add on either side of the stamped pieces. Finally I added a bunch of zigzag stitching to bring it all together.
For the journaling I wrote down a few of the things I'm thankful for related to those two kids of mine.
Those great number stamps, the orange stripe paper, and the floral paper are from Studio Calico's County Fair kit. The E and the 2 are from a chipboard set from a company called Ruby Rock It.
All the photos are from PostalPix (posted a review about them earlier in the week) and were filtered through Instagram before uploading.
Inks used include Crandberry and Outdoor Denim from Close To My Heart and Brown Sugar from Jenni Bowlin.

Oooh - I would so love to win one of your wonderful stamp sets! I'm scrapping this morning - avoiding the freezing cold temperatures here in England (well, any excuse to scrap really! ha ha) Thank you for another chance at a lovely giveaway.

Ali, I love EVERYTHING about this layout: the orientation, the photos, the journaling, the stamps, the stitching, the combination of patterned papers, the colours. You hit this one out of the park.
My six-month-old Thomas is inspiring plenty of digiscrapping goodness these days. I'm enjoying being on a creative roll while it lasts!
