Welcome to Project Life 2012 | Week Twenty-Eight.
This week is heavier on photos vs. words. I think it again has something to do with whether or not I have the album down on my kitchen counter. When it's on my counter more natural writing happens (snippets, things said in the moment, etc). Took it back down there today.
The journal cards I used this week are new products from Technique Tuesday that should be arriving online and in stores soon.
Favorite product this week? Without a doubt these letter stickers from Basic Grey that are an older product that they decided to bring back to life - great decision! I definitely want those in every color.
These actually came to me as part of Simon Says Stamp monthly card club for August, but you'll be able to grab them online and in stores again soon.
I started riding my road bike with a group of friends on Tuesday nights. Love riding in a group.
Also love the weather around here and being able to take a screenshot with my iphone, open the image in Photoshop, and print for this album.
Added a little bit of fabric tape and a chipboard heart to that photo of Anna and me.
Love being caught-up.

Love the photo of you with Anna! Simply precious.
I recently went through my Mom's big box of photos from my childhood and although it was awesome to see so many pictures of myself either alone or with siblings, friends, etc., the photos I love the most are the ones of me with my Mom.
And thanks for mentioning the Basic Grey letter stickers. They're now on my wish list.

are the basic grey monograms/alphas a thick sticker?? or more like a chipboard? thanks, ali!

They are what I would call a "sturdy" alphabet sticker. Not a "thicker" and not a super thin letter sticker.

Always get so much inspiration from your site. Thank you for sharing with us! I love the stickers this week! Do you put the stickers and other embellishments directly on your photos, on the outside of the page protectors, or do you have a clear overlay between the photos and stickers. Hope that question makes sense. I am having the hardest time deciding which approach is best. Thanks again for all the PL inspiration!

Hi! I put them directly onto the photos (there have been a couple times I did it on top of the page protectors, but in general they are always on top of the photos).

Screen shot with iphone -- isn't there a print screen function too? I especially love the weather report, we've had incredible heat here in the east - but we've also had some rain with it so we're not in the drought area! Thanks for the great ideas - I'm going to look for those white letter you used! (I finally got my PL started July 1!)

Looks great Ali!! I took screenshots as well of the weather when my husband ran in the Boston Marathon this past April...one of the hottest marathon's on record!! I just got in the mail today some project life items I want to use for the marathon pics. What size did you make the screenshot in photoshop so that it fits so well in the PL pages?

Ali, the picture of you and Anna together just brings tears of joy to my eyes. you both look SO happy, and connected to one another. you should enlarge that print and frame it. it's too perfect not to!
