October Studio AE from Technique Tuesday Blog Hop
Tags:Welcome to the Studio AE/Technique Tuesday October blog hop.
This month's stamp set is right in time for the holiday crafting / December Daily / card-making season.
Say hello to December Joys:
DIGITAL MEMORY KEEPER? This set is a combines digital brushes from the following sets: Christmas Line Stacks, Outline Christmas Brushes, Merry Banners and Merry Little Christmas Brushes. You can check out all my Christmas related digital products here: Ali Edwards Christmas Digital Brushes.

Here's a look at what I put together for this month's blog hop:
It's a full-page (8.5x11) photo layout with a cut-up divided page protector on top.
Super fun and totally felt like I was doing a giant-sized December Daily.
Here's a look at the process:
I started by stamping and embossing using Versamark and Red Zing Embossing Glitter and Gold Zing Embossing Glitter.
And then I cut them out. I embossed around the edge of the line-stacked stamps.
I cut up a divided page protector to make four pockets and I printed out the enlarged photo + two smaller ones to fit in the pocket page.
I machine stitched with red thread a box around each of the line-stacked stamped images and then I stitched the whole divided page protector onto the enlarged photo (right across the middle).

I love that you stitched this right onto the enlarged photo, what a great idea - one to add to my mental list for Deember Daily I think :)

The base photo is gorgeous! At first I thought the page protector was the layout and you used the box of ornaments as a prop for the photo! :) Thanks for sharing! You are alway so creative!

You make glitter work!
I'm doing my DD with page protector slip-ins this year. It takes less time than mounting pages to one another. That was always my biggest hurdle to finishing a day. I'm inspired!

Wow! This layout is amazing, awesome, and what I call PURE ALI! Love it to pieces! Thank you so very much for sharing all of your design ideas and inspiration with us. I can't wait to incorporate this concept into the military album (of my son) that I'm working on right now. Bless you, Ali!

This is GORGEOUS. Totally inspiring. Love the idea of the pocket page as a kind of transparency over the blown up photo.
