Katie's Project Life 2013 | Weeks 10 & 12

Welcome to Katie's Project Life 2013 | Weeks 10 & 12 .

I skipped a little bit ahead and showed you week 11 last week (My Studio Calico Main Project Life Kit spread)

I'm getting closer to being caught up and I am pretty happy about it. I can't wait until I can be in a place where I have a designated day each week to complete the previous week. I'll be there soon!

Week 10:

I am the guest designer over at Studio Calico for their April Project Life kit. This week I used a combination of the Main Project Life Kit, the Latte add-on, and The card kit.

Loving those little letter stickers that come in the Studio Calico kits. I used ink from Close To My Heart to make the wood veneer pieces yellow. That ink is so awesome! I used the same ink + the heart stamp from the Lawn Fawn that is included in the card kit for my date card.

The "dreams can come true" and "memories are for sharing" are transparency die cuts from Basic Grey. They are so fun!

Week 12:

This week was full of some really fun things! Most of these photos are from the weekend. During the week Ali and I were busy moving things out of the office and I didn't have my phone on me that much (about 99% of my photos for Project Life are taken with my iPhone)

Peter, my parents, a friend and I ventured out to tour our wedding venue again. We are getting married at a summer camp that was built in the 40's and is still used today for various summer activities.  It was so fun to be able to walk around and visualize what we want our big day to look like. I knew I wanted to include a larger version of the photo of Peter standing in the area where we are going to have our reception. Those trees are massive, and I love them. I love how that photo turned out.

I printed out Ali's Banner Me Vol. 01 banners onto white card stock and then cut the banners out and added them to the photo.

I cut them all out and they are now in my drawer for quick access when I need to add something extra to a photo.

Peter left for India for two weeks.  His sister is teaching at an international school in Mumbai for 2 years and he went to go sightseeing with her on her spring break. I'm hoping to include some of his photos from his trip in an insert next week.

The "Sweetheart" stamp is from Kelly Purkey's Hey Foxy stamp set. Loving ALL of her stamps so much!

The wood veneer brackets are from Sodalicious and were included in a previous Studio Calico Project Life Kit.

IDEA | Mist over American Crafts Elf Chipboard Thickers using Mister Huey's in Buttercup.

I pealed the letters off very carefully and it didn't rip the paper. I used Bazzill's Orange Peel White Cardstock.

I cut it down to 4x6 size and used washi tape to adhere it to the top of a photo to create a flap.

I adhered a 4x6 journal card from Studio Calico's March Project Life Kit to the back of the card with a dot roller. I really love using this technique to add more journaling. I then added an Avery Index Tab to the top of the card that says "open me" (pictured above) to remind whoever is looking at it to take it out and open it up.
