I'm definitely in love with this new collection! The bows are adorable and the typewriter is a must have, but the gold accents, including the doily, are to die for. After seeing this new collection I can confidently say that many designers will follow suit and include gold in their next collections! Well done Maggie, very well done!

hi ali! you feature/advertise a lot of products on your blog and i was wondering how often these products are sent to you for free? what portion of your scrapbooking products are free and about how much of it do you actually purchase? are you a subscriber to some of these kit clubs? or as a member of the design team do they just send you the products?

It's varied over the years (between having a lot sent to me vs. me purchasing). I do shop at Two Peas and Scrapbook.com. I am a subscriber to Studio Calico's main kit and receive the Project Life kit as a member of the creative team. I actually think it's about 50/50 - a combination of things sent as samples and things I purchase because it's exactly what I want or am interested in. Different companies run things different ways - some things are done via trade, some pay me to promote (via sponsorships), and I pay some of them when I purchase things (class kits or personal supplies).
