Welcome to Project Life 2013 | Week Twenty-Nine (July 15-21).
Each month during 2013 one of my Project Life weeks will be using the Studio Calico Project Life kit.

The stamps in this kit this month are from artist (and friend) Kal Barteski. So cool.
I had fun playing with the red and teal combo and keeping the rest of the spread really simple. Usually I add embellishments or words to my photos and this week I just decided to leave them alone.
I created consistency from one journal card to the next by adding a single teal letter sticker for each day of the week.
The ink I used this week that went perfectly with the letter stickers is Hero Arts Shadow Ink in Tide Pool (Mid-Tone).
Sometimes the absolute best thing to include is a thankful card. Especially on a week like this where I really didn't have much to say beyond work, work, work. I liked having a specific topic like that to turn to for some added meaningful content (and it also acts as a nice perspective shift).

Hi Ali- What letters did you use for the days of the week and the "work binge" card? I am finding that the letters I want to use are too large for the project life cards and so I am in search of new ones. Thanks!

Those are ones that are included in the Studio Calico kit - they are from BasicGrey (and I think made specifically for the kit).

Always love your Project Life LOs. Thanks for all the inspiration :-) I'm always wanting to say (because I'm just silly) "no fair, you have custom Ali Edwards journalling." I'm sure you've heard that a million times. LOL! Your handwriting is just beautiful. I'll just have to stick with my Ali Edwards stamps...
